Adam's 'activity level and attention span' comes largely in part from his age, he's only 13 mo old... and in part from his Sensory Processing Disorder--not ADHD, he's too young to give meds typically used for ADHD at this time... if routine therapy for his SPD doesn't help as he ages, we'll look into meds-- but for now it's not feasible... although sometimes I've wished I could give him something to slow him down-- so I could catch my breath!! LOL

Oh well that's good that his issues aren't add-ish yet........one less thing to worry about.

Oh yeah... w/his laundry list of little issues it's nice to know that )hopefully) that isn't one of them LOL... his OT swears once he gets use to walking and being able to go everywhere his energy level will decrease, he's just excited about his new skill... I'm like OK when's THAT gonna be?? :D :D

Not to be discouraging, but my son is 23 and I haven't seen a decrease in his energy level yet!:lol: And he doesn't have ADHD, either!
 
My energy went down a bit when I was a teen but that's because I had an undx'd thyroid disease and I have ADHD! Once I got my meds, it went back to my normal energy levels.

:dizzy: OH NO!!! LOL Thanks Jillio :lol: I'm not to positive he'll chill honestly, but a momma can dream.... :fingersx::fingersx:
 
There are a LOT of factors that parents have to consider before making this decision.
