Why won't the school send in my FM system to get it fix?

well it zooms in on the sounds you hear like your teachers talking to U!
there's a mute button on it too!

LOL yep
my experience with the Campus S was good but sometime bad when it come to the battery door falling off and the battery on the floor
I once lost the battery door to it!
it had techincal diffculties lots of times....
one time, my loaner was charged up but it came out with "E9" on the screen and I had no idea was it stand for!!!!!!! that was weird though

Oh, that happens a lot every time it drops! I hated having to fix it all by myself most of the time.
Me too! I was looking nuts for the backup battery and nowhere to be found!? It was like, "What the heck?!"
Oh, I know...technical difficulties is what drives me nuts! Like how it shuts off on me and it's annoying to do it over and over until it's knocked out dead. XP Oh, yeah, E9, that happens a few times too! I think it means battery fail. It happens once awhile through the year, but not like crazy though.

OMG!!!!!! :laugh2:
that's what I thought it was or something else that has gone unexceptly weird!
and I thought I lost my FM boot but it turned out it was on the floor (happened lots of time this year) and it happened in 8th grade 2 when I lost one!
my boot is grey and the floor is was white so I thought I'd gone crazy!!!!

LAWL, wow, that never happened to me before when losing something so small on the ground. I usually can spot something so obvious. XD But, I'm glad you found it and that you aren't insane.

yeah my FM recivers were very hard to spot since they're grey
my MLxi is kinda grey-silver but who know? I'm nearsighted!

Um I would DOUBLE check that...I highly doubt a trade in is FREE...usually the trade in value is whatever the old fm system is and then that number is knocked off the price of the NEW FM...the upgrade may have been free for you safari girl but not for the school..which is why princess should for sure double check that..cuz if she's having trouble even getting her FM fixed I'm sure the school won't spring for a new FM system...

Where are your parents through all of this. How about your doctor or audiologist. How about legal representation. Why do you have to fight with everyone for your rights.

That is definitely my plan to exchange the old FM system for a new one. I'm surely there's no doubt that my deaf teacher would not go against me on. I will be talking to my audiologist about this soon once my dad sets the appointment. Of course, that is why I am considering to talk to my audiologist about the FM system trade thing or see if it's possible to make it easier for me again.

My parents hear all of the stuff I have been going through. Seeing my audiologists is somewhat hard for me to attend to unless for need of new earmolds or hearing test. I don't my hearing insurance (Medicare - I think) and it cost too much to pay for.

Hm...why do I have to fight with everyone for my rights? I can tell you that because I just want to listen how I want to hear, I want to be at peace with no more constant beeping sound in my hearing aids, and no more distraction. It's my last year of high school and I want to make it last. Not only that, I don't know how to focus if I am going to be distracted by noise and miss bunch of stuff in class. I want better grades because if I focus, I get higher grades. That's all I want, so I don't feel frustrated or annoyed all day.
