That's how Taylor feels when you were raving toward him with these anti-cop comments. That's how others feel when you were raving at others with different subjects.

You strongly believe in "An eye for an eye" philosophy. If you don't like what others act/say toward you then you stop whatever you are doing toward others (i.e. Taylor and others).

You reap what you sow. That's your lesson. I learned a hard lesson the hard way several days ago and I am getting better.

I belive in "An eye for an eye" when it comes to crime issues. Because justice doesnt protect the innocent anymore it frees the guilty.

ravensteve, But... you slashed cop's tires (I am not sure if I get the right information)... that is a crime. If you strongly believe in 'an eye for an eye' philosophy then one of cops should slash your tires too or send you to the prison.

But noo, you don't think that you should be punished for that, right?

Steve, I am constantly reminding my kids and others that the way people treat you is usually a mirror image of the way you treat them. YOU have more influence over the way people percieve you and react to you than anyone. Try being nice for a while and see if it makes a difference here. Just call it a harmless experiment.

we tried telling him that a trillion times already and he doesn't even think that whatever he says isn't rude or anything since he thinks he has the right to say anything he wants by the so-called "freedom of speech" stuff...

but do you call it "freedom of speech" when you use emotional, physical and verbal abuse against the othe person?

No. you use "freedom of speech" when you stand up for yourself and correct the matters and to make it right for yourself and the people. that's freedom of speech.

so don't waste your breath trying to help him to do what should be right because he doesn't know what is right and what is wrong, even though he's already 43 and it's pitiful but that's his problem so don't worry about his and just worry about yours and for your kids, as well.

I want that too.But the members have to make the first move.
 
I have found that there are some fantastic people here on alldeaf. I disagree with a lot of them on a lot of things. Some issues and opinions fire me up even. But there is almost always respect here.

I have not been here long, but long enough to see how one or two people with generally bad and hateful attitudes can ruin a perfectly good and thought provoking discussion with off the wall comments and personal insults.

When I am KING, this will change! Until then, I will try to use reason to get disruptive people to change their approach. It isn't the first time I preached to a concrete post, and probably not the last.
 
This is why we have freedom of speech in america. We get to make free speech posts.But in soviet russia the forum posts on you.
