No! Not always...

It is because of lack of self esteem and insecurities.

They have to be in control, It is nothing but a power trip.

Not because of some pissed poor, lame excuse,,,, Oh I was abused!!

Abuse is a terrible thing and I wish it doesn't happen. Why does it happen...different reasons.
 
friendly reminder, not all men, some men do. well some women do abuse men too.
 
When they were abused or being control by their father and their father taught them it is ok to control the women or men. But that is wrong to raise the kid like that. Then turn to abuse women and/or men.

I was also abused but glad he is not around anymore.
 
Men who abuse women are worthless in my opinion. Hell, men who abuse anyone are just pathetic. And what the hell is up with men who think the one they are with is their property?! People are not property, I am not property. Having been there, I know what its like. Stay strong, don't let anyone make you feel inferior. He does not own you. Loves!

But as a man, I just would like to say (in a very small squeaky voice) not all of us are assholes.

I think some men just hate women and feel they have the rights to treat their woman anyway they feel like it! It is really sad when the woman become a prisoner in her own home!
 
Abusing people is just about power and fear and that's what they use against you so to make you weaker against them but...think about that. don't let that happen to you.

I kept seeing you made a such question about "bad man vs. good woman". I don't know why you think of that way... unless, you might have some bad experince as your personal.

You should keep in that mind is men are no better than women, or women are no better than men. Do you know why parents have 50-50 chance to have either a boy or girl? Both genders who have a various situation in a similar way, and only small different is their lifestyle as a gender. Again, they are all being humans. No difference. :)
 
Every man and woman has the ability to abuse others. It's a matter of personal choice whether or not they use their power to inflict pain. So, it's not a matter of man vs woman since we are all human beings.
 
I have to agree that men have been abused by their father or another family member like Uncle, or Cousin, or brother. Also men become bullies thinking that they have the power to control anyone and more common is that women are weaker than the men. So you will find many women being abuse more than men. Yes, women abuse men but in a different way. Men use physcially abuse and even kill them because they hate women. what about verbally abuse them and make their life miserable. No matter, it is still wrong in both counts for both men and women to abuse. It is against the law to do that. I guess there is no way to stop their abusive behavior from destroying people`s lives. My sister was abused and she will never forget. It is a shame to put many women down like that more than men who were put down too but there are few men. :mad:

It is not personal choice for them to abuse others. No, no one want to be inflict pain by them. No one like to be in power like this. That is why I do not understand why men have to be in physical fighting sport like football, boxing and wrestling. Is that how men learn to do this to men and also toward women Q. Men who are in abusive behavior toward anyone whether man or woman are not human being at all. They are animals!!!!

You're right about that, aggressive behavior is seen as primal, therefore classified as animalistic. What I was saying is that people are consciously aware of their actions (except for drugs or mental loss of self-control) which shows that they have choices in life. I said it was personal choice because each person has the option of hurting someone or not.

I hope that makes sense.

Many years, my wife is angry management for no reason. She attacked me. I am not happy to have scratch marks on my left arms. Won't fad for long time.

Long time ago, I lived in Seattle. The woman picked other guy to marry instead date with me. Few years later, I surprised to hear that woman sent her husband to the hospital. Wow, she is stronger to beat her husband.
