All we can do is type type type words on computers...
before we had AOL came along...

I don't remember if AOL came along with the computer.

But I remember I had my first computer... alll it does
was collect dust.

I might as well get a typewriter...

But since everybody got computers....
I think the price of the computers should be lower...
Because most people using computers for internet services
and stuff.

Look at tv. the tv doesn't cost much.... And my tv is the size
of my computer moniters...

And mine cost $200. And it got many stuff going on there.
Can even get webTV.... that is so cheap.

But Computers? Why are they so expensive???????

Especially now?

how can computers be expensive.. look back in early 90's u see how expensive those computers are? more likely for a new one is well over $1,000.. now a days u can get brand new computer for just $499

Yes, the prices have been going down for computers, while at the same time they offer more features and power. We get a lot more bang for the buck in computers now than even a decade ago.
 
Sidekick 2 is soo cool, cause it is a mini computer to me...
Heck, I don't need the laptop....

It only cost $199 for that...

Actually, I remember that good computers back in the early 90s was like over 3,000 bucks, even 4,000 bucks.

I dont understand why you associate sales taxes with liberalism. We have no sales taxes here but we have higher property taxes, etc thus many people cannot afford to own homes, etc. I pay over 1800.00 a year for my place and its not even a huge one.
 
all the powers should be for people who got office jobs or Businesses....


But I don't need all of those power... boot up my mom's electric bills...

I only need power and space to type up my homework essay and aol.
That is all I need.
 

One of these days, I will have 62" Flat screen TV that goes with my PC and keyboard. Heh ! :twisted:

Heck you better got to have computer and printer for that.

Oh, also SK1 and SK2 have bad internet browser with no java support. How fun.

heh, my mom was a computer salesperson back in the 80's. computers were like 5,000 bucks. today's 500 bucks computers are one tenth of the cost 30 years ago. the prices continue drop.

Computers are cheap. I remember back in the early days, a computer would cost $2000+. That would probally be $3000+ in todays figures. And, those computers had nothing what today's computers have. Quit your whining...LOL
