Who's Irish

Where I live the Irish are not a minority ! And Irish parades had gotten out control by peope that drunk out of their minds! I had a Black friend that went to an Irish parade in Boston in the 60's and he was beaten up very badly by some Irish men! My friend never went to one your parade again!
So it no a stereotype to say all Irish people like to get drunk!

I think he meant Deaf people are a minority.

It is very much a stereotype, and Black people (men, women, and children) were beaten by caucasions of all persuations in the 60's.

I'm not Irish. I'm Cherokee and Ojibway. But I celebrate St. Patrick's anyway for the fun of it. But not this year as I am still recovering from the surgery and it is hard to get out right now - I need PT and PT starts tomorrow. The PT will be done at home.

But I have Irish friends and I think Ireland is a beautiful country that I would like to visit someday. Someday I will travel the whole world and will visit Ireland.

That is really cool. My great grandmother was 100% Miami (pronounced mee ah mee) from the Ohio River Valley Tribe. They were descendants of the Mahican Tribe.

The book "last of the Mohicans" by James Fenimore Cooper, was written about my ancestors.

Of course, looking at me, you would never tell I am part Native. But my grandmother, and her sister, have both taught me a lot about my heritage.

My Uncle is also a ghourd dancer and friend of the Navajo Nation. He was selected by the US Army to award the Navajo Code Talkers their Warrior Medal of Valor for the service they did in WWII.

He is also Arizona Ranger.

My grandfather was born in Kilkenny, Ireland. He still has family members over there but moved here a long time ago. My mum has been to Ireland in the grand total of 2 times, I've never been but would like to visit!!
