Who's Irish

I'm irish, which is obvious to those who are aware of my last name (the joys of Facebookin') :) but I will be a sober fool tonight since I'm working, le sigh

I thought you're more of.... mixed German :hmm:

Me!! I'm Irish and damn proud of it! I guess that explains the musical kinship I feel with U2 and Van Morrison. :)

Love Van Morrison! 1/2 Irish here. The other half is 1/4 Jewish, and 1/4 African American.

Not Irish, but...

I can still match them in a drinking contest.

Just give me vodka.

Never met anyone who could beat me in a vodka drinking challenge, I had to drag a "party animal" out of the bathroom when she tried to outdrink me. I drank twice as much as she did, straight up, with my nose pinched but it hey it did the trick lol. I'd be veeery surprised if you were able to give me competition :/

*burps* *looks at the picture of a certain somebody's jeep packed with empty beer bottles* wow I am ever so humbled now, thanks PFH!

Decendent of the Irish. So I reckon I'm part Irish. :)

What makes America so great our culture is diverse. Many occasions to celebrate!

Looking forward to Cinco De Mayo as well. :)

I concur. America is one big melting pot.

On top of the morning, I've got some Irish in me! Oy, being a descendant of the Irish and German = Beer and more Beers! :giggle:

Not a stereotype.

That is something that happens here on every 5th of May and is a fact.

It doesn't happen for MLK day, St Patty's, etc..

I'm just saying: I'm all for cultural awareness. We're in the minority after all. But some stuff associated to the awareness is what I am not looking for. Get what I mean?

Where I live the Irish are not a minority ! And Irish parades had gotten out control by peope that drunk out of their minds! I had a Black friend that went to an Irish parade in Boston in the 60's and he was beaten up very badly by some Irish men! My friend never went to one your parade again!
So it no a stereotype to say all Irish people like to get drunk!
