and FYI - take a look at America. over 1,000 American women died per year to domestic violence. The number of deaths died to domestic violence outnumbers the number of American casualty during Iraq war during that same time frame.

and I would question American's sense of morality when American corporations moved their factories to China. Ever seen their working condition and safety?

Now, as to about a human life value - for example in India, unfortunately,
a newborn girls are commonly murdered right after birth because a girl, woman life is worth nothing in some areas.
Nobody really think it's wrong to kill a newborn girls. maybe a handful of people.

Now why is that? A number of reason, again a dowry most of all.
The fact that women are denied an education and thus an ability to work
for themselves later, and therefore being a burden on their families.

All of it makes them less than desirable, and in turn quite unloved and worthless human beings.

Chinese people do value their children very much too. I don't know what you mean by "more". Do you mean American parents provide children with gameboys? brand new Nike sneakers? gorging them with food and chocolate?

yes. it's been like that since thousands of years ago in many countries. it's sad. and women in America just finally got rights just over 90 years ago.

You'd be surprised. I once have seen a TV documentary about some Arab nomad or other small nation where women became so rare,
the men had to search elsewhere for them to marry,
and still they treated them like dirt, like a ware to trade over. And they win.

Unfortunately, these people are ruled by the power of muscles and oppression.

And since we women have no physical power, we are easily intimidated.
What's worse, intimidated into believing this is right :(
the whole concept of Quran is based on this.
Woman - an "unclean being" - what a crock.

It's simple - stronger physically oppresses a weaker physically.

Rarely a physically weaker but merely smart mind is capable to use a physical force to its benefit.
