Whoa.. chinese ppls aren't help poor little girl? **Graphic content**

but really - this apathy is not really because of "Chinese" people or Chinese government or anything like it.

We've witnessed same kinds of apathy right here in America too. So the question is - what went wrong with us? Why have we become apathetic? :(

In this age of all kinds of "reality TV" most people have lost all kinds of belief or feelings, I think. They never know what is real anymore.

I can't watch it, too gruesome just thinking about it. China is a very messed up country, that's all I can say. Dog meat is a delicacy and human life is worthless.

Should not have watch :( poor poor baby....not understand nobody help! Is baby! Instinct help!

I want to know if she alive or ? Praying for her! :( :( :(

I don't care what repercussions you're worried about. I don't care how much it might cost you. How do you go past a mangled child (I'm assuming, didn't even try to watch the video) and not stop to help? How do you not chase down the driver and beat HIM bloody? I'm sitting here crying because this is a sad and scary example of what the human race can be.

Yeah, especially if bystanders would rather chase the driver down and beat him bloody instead of helping the girl.

You've lived in the USA life too comfortably. You should try to visit a second or third world country for once.

Sorry, that's my immediate anger/outrage response. Of COURSE, helping the girl would be the most important thing. If only a few people had stepped to her aid... But, yeah, the other half of the crowd should have been making sure the guy never got the opportunity to do something like that again. I don't care how. He earned that by valuing his comfort/time/freedom higher than the girl's life.

That is his karmic lesson. Perhaps the little girl got karmic payback for fleeing the scene of an accident in a previous life? Beware of dispensing justice for this reason. *shrugs*

They were rhetorical questions. I get that human decency is one of the first things to go when it comes down to "me or them". I guess I'm just saying it's sad and scary that we (humans) aren't better than that.
