According to the bible God works through others to bless the sick or lame. The reciever has to "believe" before anything can be done. It's a test of faith and not to be messed with. There's always a bad apple in any crowd and you just have to filter through them to find a ripe one.
"Blessed are those who have not seen, yet still believe"
As a believer i feel you have precieved God's work the wrong way, he will do what he feels is right on his time, not on your expectations. My father became sick and needed a kidney transplant he believed that God would cure him. What he didn't think of is.. Is this in God's plans?
He allowed this sickness to happen for a reason, my father wouldn't buy it. He stopped going to church because of it, bad mistake!
Turns out his sister barb matched up with my fathers blood and she gave him one of her kidneys. They have became closer than ever because of his illness!
His plan was obvious he wanted them to be closer, and not because he wanted my father to die or to suffer.
So I've learned a great deal from others mistakes, maybe you'll find the same for yourself. I'd never throw away my bibles, not for anyone.
I know God wants me to go back to church, and I feel i should just because of this reply.
