Personally, I don't believe all the pictures we see of dinosaurs are accurate either. But that's another topic. :)


... So, question why do christians need to have pic of Jesus being viewed as white/brownhair/blue eyes laying around their house or church?

I have no idea why they do that. :dunno: You have to ask those who do that. At my church and in my house, we don't have any pictures of Jesus.

I do have a creche (nativity manger) with figures of people, angels, and animals that I set up at Christmas time. When my daughter (and later, grandsons) were little, it was an easy way to explain to them the Christmas story. It was a set that I had since I was a young teen. BTW, when I first bought the figures, they came with blonde or light brown hair. I used model paint to paint the hair on them black. I wasn't a Christian back then, but it just seemed more logical to me, ha, ha.

You have your belief and I, mine. Your belief is an opinion, not a truth. You're free to believe whatever you well please, but don't try to tell me that it's the truth just because you think, feel and was told so by a smelly old book that's context has changed over a thounsand times. Not to mention it was wrote by mortal hands. Power corrupts, and if someone had the power to recreate a divine word in their own image, they probably would (power can corrupt even the purest of people. I've seen it happen :) ). Especially given the creed of most politicans and kings of the dark ages - those only capable of writing such thing and publishing it!

Every time a person brings up a valid argument, people thump their bibles and point at the pages as if it's some sort of magic "I win this argument, god exists solely because this book says so!" it irrirtates the living crap out of me. That book is pseudo-history. While events may have happened in such way, it's sugarcoated with angels and divinity and blasted out of portion.

It's read by so many people, but understood even less. I'm really tempted to insult people who burry their noses into the bible and make it their life. Sometimes I like to refer them to sheep - unsure of what's going on, being led around by magic words that some omni-potient being exists.

Arguing with people about religion? Nobody ever wins the argument or gets anyone else to see their side, it's a paradox of unstoppable force meets immovable object. So I bid thee adieu! -exits thread and avoids it like the black plague.-

Side note; Praying? You think it's God who's doing it? Ever think it might be you? With such a strong will and soul, it just might be you who's making the miracales happen. Oh, wait, no... it has to be some magical uni-sex formless being that's doing it. Yep!

No scientist has ever seen any living dinosaurs that are now extinct, nor even an intact carcass. The pictures we see have been created out of their imaginations, based on some bones and fossils (not even complete skeletons). They don't have samples of the skins, so they don't know the color, pattern or texture of the dinosaurs. The scientists have changed their conclusions several times about various dinosaurs. They can't even decide what the dinosaurs looked like. The scientists had to change the pictures, change the names, change the dietary habits, etc., that they had previously concluded.

If the scientists don't trust their pictures, why should we?

The physical appearance of God the Father, and Jesus isn't important. The Bible doesn't describe their physical features because they are irrelevant, and would cause people to have the wrong focus of their attention. God is the Author of the Bible, so He has no need to make up anything in His Bible.


Dinosaurs may look different from what we thought of them. But you cannot deny the fact is that dinosaurs are real.

I have never denied the existence of dinosaurs. I only said that scientists don't have all the answers about dinosaurs. The Bible mentions dinosaurs, so why would I want to deny them?


Too many evidences pointed out that they once roamed the earth. Maybe you need to go to Dinosaurs Museums and get your facts straight out.

God and Jesus (you are confused) Jesus is a GOD!!

I went to Dinosaurs Museums before. It is full of baloney! I won't take their facts about the dinosaurs because I know the devil is brainwashing everyone to believe this part. The devil is giggling and laughing out loud!!
 
Moses did faced with God. Moses already asked God, where is your generation coming from on the earth? God told him that God created Adam then Eve out from Adam's rib to created her as a woman for Adam. Did you all wondered where you can get the information? Show you here, Moses wrote down what God said to him about 5 listing from Torah (a scroll).

They are:

1. Genesis
2. Exodus
3. Leviticus
4. Numbers
5. Deuteronomy

Moses was shocked that it was coming from Adam to Moses at that time when God was talking to Moses. After Moses wrote those 5 listing from Torah and it was put in the Ark and went through the journey and arrived to Israel at the temple. That is where King David built that temple and brought the ark into the temple. Moses wanted to see God's face, but God told him no and God turned around to his back. If Moses facing to God and he would have died immediately!! That is why I don't believe in those evolution issues because of those 5 listing things in Torah.

Speaking of 5 book of Moses.. it is called "5 Mosaic Laws" which Moses wrotes 5 book of Moses.

As I mention before, I'm not experience Christian. I've asked my husband about the word, "Giants". He's not really sure but he wants me to ask you all. The question is, The word, "Giants" does that mean dinosaurs or big giant humans? I'm lost at that word. Thanks for the answers..:) Oh, I copied the link:
