Glad Been Hidin gone. Have to wonder thought. If there was a 40 minute firefight prior to killing him, then why did he wait till they were in his top room before reaching for a weapon. Lost me there.

What are you getting at? You sound like a conspiracy theorist and are you aware of studies proving them prone to Machievallian activities and violence, and are you aware that you should be locked up for our own safety???

I had always expected Osama Bin Laden's last words would be "HEY! You're not my wife!!"

I used to joke about that back in 2001. According to the reports of how it all went down ... it came pretty close to that.

I watched CNN's documentary on Osama Bin Laden's life earlier. There were some interesting tidbits of information that I had not known (or maybe just forgot). OBL had offered the services of his mujahideen (sp??) during Desert Storm to help drive Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait, and the Saudi government told him no. He was irked that the Saudi's let the US set up a base there. He was outraged by the fact his services were declined, and the Saudi's allowed the US to set up camp near Mecca.

Of course, coupled with the fact that the US is allied with Israel really set him off, and they were allowed to set up camp in the holiest of holies in the Islamic world.
 
O come on. Are you trying to tell me that after hearing (and feeling) two large choppers land on the compound and gunfire going off for 40 minutes during clearing of first two floors before reaching top floor that Been Hiding did not arm himself till they were up in front of him?
Yeah what I'm saying is that it sounds like a coverup. Either he was armed and ready or he was not armed. He wouldn't wait till last moment to arm himself. That's just not reality.

And by the way: patriotism doesn't change reality or truth.

we didn't need an excuse to kill him. that's my point. why make excuses. we should have captured him and tortured him for info.

well - how do you know it takes 40 min to get to OBL?

They said the entire mission took 40 min.

We don't need bin Laden alive for info - we got plenty of info on his computers and videos. It's a gold mine.

There were some changes but it doesn't change the fact that he was killed and that his computers were taken away. His daughter and his wife said bin Laden was killed.

I do NOT believe that bin Laden was resisting or armed but that doesn't matter because Obama wanted him killed. That's his agenda and he got it done. Why would we want him alive and have media frenzy on him.. he's just worthless. A video just got released showing his morbid fascination with his image as a wanted man - he was watching himself on TV. It shows how psychotic he is.

The whole mission took 40 minutes and that's EXTREMELY FAST. So, there are going to be some mistakes in storytelling because it happened so fast and we just guessed. We just have to wait until they get the facts.

I expect more changes when we find new facts.
