When you walk in or out of store then the alarm goes beep beep beep

Vivie,

I don't know if your question was directed at me, but I switch my CIs to T-coil mode and when I do that, I can tell when the lights are on in my apartment. :D

It was directed to everyone that can do something with T-coil..was like :laugh2:

maybe I'll do that sometime to see if I can detect anything!

Happened to me last year, going out a sporting goods store. Just before that, I'd gone out of a bookstore and the alarm went off, found that there was a security thingie in between pages-and it was a little paperback! I can understand putting those things in hardcovers but not $6.99 paperbacks. They removed it but I still set off the alarm in the other store, and since I'd only gotten as far as the checkout to buy a gift card they told me to go on. It's embarrassing.

T-coil detection

Oh, I like the postings about listening for things with t-coil! I do same thing! I can hear rate of data exchange with cell phone tethered to computer! Very interesting! If you have lots of interference on t-coil from devices, you can also use the "buzzing" sound as a cover-up for tinnitus! :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:
