All this to say, yeah, no wonder Bush didn't look surprised when he heard about the attacks on WTC. He knew long before the attacks happened that the Taliban were planning to use airplanes as weapons and he knew very very very well as an oil man what that meant in terms of profits for him, his friends and family. He did eventually either sell off his stocks or put them in a blind trust but it cannot be denied that cronyism was very much a huge huge part of the war on Iraq.

So, while your tax dollars funded this war, the top 1% said thanks for making us billions, sorry about your economy collapsing. :)

Umm, you realize Bush was briefed on the first plane BEFORE entering the school, right? The 'look" you are referring to is after the second plane hit.

Didn't say he was part of a conspiracy - but definitely saying he knew fully well before the attacks on the WTC that the Taliban were planning those attacks.
Based on his facial expression?

secondly, everyone in the world had an OMG reaction to the breaking news of WTC's attacks.
Actually, no. Not if you mean a visible, audible, gasping, wide-eyed reaction. Not everyone shows their feelings on their faces, especially when they must maintain self-control. People who work in leadership positions or emergency services do that all the time. Some people are stoic. Of course, they don't make for good visuals.

The rest of your post is the same-old, same-old conspiracy stuff that we've already hashed over in several old threads (ask Beowulf).

If all your "evidence" was true I guess they would prove that the conspirators weren't very good at covering their tracks.

And since he did all that planning, he forgot to pretend to look surprised when the attack happened. Oopsie! Foiled by the face.

Yeah, right.

Yeah, right.

what i posted - all factual information. The pentagon report can easily be found and downloaded - i know because i downloaded it. The stakes in corporations, all verified and proven and are public records and easily backed up by tons of media documentation on the internet. You can easily look up the financial history of Haliburton on Reuters.com - just look at their charts and click on "max" to see its full history. Which is exactly what I did and thus learned waht the share prices are.

Unless you're denying Bush had investments in oil and denying that Dick Cheney was director at Haliburton and denying that Pentagon report exists and preferring to label it all as conspiracy.

This is not at all imaginary as you seem to prefer to believe.

I admire your tenacity to denial. it's quite something.

Not much of a secret conspiracy then. :D

The conspirators weren't very clever, were they?

I'm denying that just because someone invests in oil it follows that they plan an attack on the WTC.

My tenacity is based in logic. Your A + B = Parsnips makes no sense.

Neither do you :)

Nothing in what I wrote said Bush planned the attacks on WTC. You, once again, made that up and once again, implied i said it. Typical. I notice you do that when you can't argue effectively with facts to prove me wrong. Quite sad, really.

:laugh2: Not even going to bother with a silly link like that except to say people in the south drop the words "had" and "has' often.

If you want to believe that somehow between 8:46 (first plane) and 9:06 (start of the classroom session) no one informed the President about a major incident, that is your right. Even teachers and the Principal say he discussed the incident with them before going in and made the decision not to cancel.

OK. What exactly is it you're saying about Bush, other than he didn't look surprised? What is your point?

If I misunderstood your points, I apologize.

Just to be clear then.

What is your theory of what happened on 9/11?

Link?
That's right, you can't provide one because it doesn't exist!

I noticed how TXGolfer sidestepped the fact that Bush said he SAW the first plane hitting the tower before going into the classroom.

"BUSH: Well... (APPLAUSE)

Thank you, Jordan (ph).

Well, Jordan (ph), you're not going to believe what state I was in when I heard about the terrorist attack. I was in Florida. And my chief of staff, Andy Card -- actually I was in a classroom talking about a reading program that works. And I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on, and I use to fly myself, and I said, "There's one terrible pilot." And I said, "It must have been a horrible accident."

CNN.com - Transcripts

Blind loyalty to bush or something, I guess. How could Bush have seen this when there was no footage of the first plane hitting the tower on tv that morning?

TXGolfer, you laughed at Beowulf's link and made fun of a typo but guess what? that Transcript came from CNN.com

Yep.

Yep.

Made fun of a typo? You must be confused.

I have no doubt that Bush made this statement.
