I am glad to hear about Obama isn't job for children limited. I don't want our country like China's limited on children number. I want to have 3 or 4 kids in future. I am honest with you. I really hate the government 's controlling with child limited 1 or 2. It's parents' decide want to have more kids more than 2.

China has overpopulation issue, they adopted the one child policy in 1979 to control the population.

It's seems like good reason for China to have this law.

That's true. China's population is more than USA. World population - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

India and China are billion people than other countries. Do you know how much USA population here now?

That's why China limited the population with born children. I think Obama can't do anything about children in family.

as usual - the liberal/Democrats are anti-gun. so yes Obama is anti-gun even though he claims to support Amendment 2 but with extreme restrictions. I'll manage with this crap for 4 years... because economy's my huge concern. Gun rights means nothing to me if i'm broke and homeless.

ban guns from police and troops?? no. no way. that is a political suicide to do so. As for private gun ownership - he said he does not believe in CCW. He ultimately let the state to decide and enforce its own gun laws but in his private view - he wants to ban the guns.

just a little more clarification - with CCW permit - your gun must be HIDDEN from public view. I have heard in some state/municipality that even with CCW permit and your gun is exposed to public view even for 1 second, you can be arrested.

Lot of states do allow OPEN-CARRY (some requires permit for that). Open-Carry means you can wear your gun on your belt in plain view. See this link to see what's legal, what's not.

There's laws regard on open carry, they seems so mixed.

Jiro & FoxRac. I got it. Thank you. My state is green. It's gun license. If you're carrying a fireman without license. You would go to jail. If you have your own gun license proof it. You will not get in trouble. It depend on Criminal Record and State law.

Having a criminal record is automatic disqualification for gun permit. BTW - what state are you? I want to look it up.

Only 6 states and DC strictly prohibits Open-Carry. Rest does allow Open-Carry but each has their own laws and restrictions. Point is - lot of states do allow it but those 6 states and DC PROHIBITS it.

In my state, we have stricter gun law and open carry isn't allowed except for rural area and small town, also CCW isn't allowed too.

Yeah. It's same as here. It happened to everybody else. The people with ownership of gun. They were complained and sued on someone who post on the newspaper with their privacy right for gun protect. It's very private not in public.

You know in my state is a famous of hunting for deer. It's legal in state. The hunter must get a license of weapon for animal. If criminal record show or not have a license of Rifle and can go to jail.

Yup, I found from some people's opinion about ban to own guns or increase more gun control would cause crime goes up but there's some way to interesting.

In UK, you or citizens are banned to own gun but crime rate, usually murder in UK is much lower than in US, same with crime rate in London is lower than in NYC.

In Los Angeles, they have stricter gun control like you aren't allow to open carry or CCW but only can have guns at home or private place, depends on kind of guns are lawful to own, also crime rate in LA is down and down in over years, it shows gun control has nothing to affect crime rate. In 1992, murder was around 1,200 and in 2007, it's 394. Gun control has been more tighten since 80's and murder was very high in late 80's until early 1990's due serious gangs problem.

Gun control has nothing to affect crime rate but depends on anything goes on.

Murder or not, people still get hurt. Even though the murder rate is low in UK, they still have a very high crime rate in violent crimes that resulted in a serious bodily harm.

regardless of crime - point is... law-abiding citizens should be able to defend themselves from any crimes.

Not higher as in USA, also violent crime in LA is lower than in 80's and 90's when gun control is present.

Own guns wouldn't help to prevent from crime in mixed cases, you could get tackle in one minute and never know about what happens.

Guns is more nothing than cause an civil issue, even guns are more collection and hobbies, such as hunting and worth for police, FBI, SWAT and ATF.

FYI, I have nothing to against on gun rights.
