My dinner plans have been changed - since they delivered the wrong refridgerator we are living out of ice chests for another 2 days. Bummer!!

MIL has ordered PapaJohn's pizza again.

Tonight was spaghetti and garlic bread. It's a usual for Tuesdays & Thursdays, but that's because it's quick and easy to make.

What happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

Curried lentils made with a simple mirepoix, tomato sauce and spinach. A nice sliced beet and onion salad served over baby greens with a dijon and red wine vinegar dressing.

Oh, Botti, that burger would be soooo good. My lab results are back, only veggie burgers for me. Cholesterol levels about 290. Gee.

Maybe only one a week might be ok? Who knows. The lentils are tasty, who had a recipe for lentil burgers?

That is high! Eat a lot of oatmeal for breakfast to help lower it?

Scallop kabobs, with red onion, mushrooms, red/green/yellow bell pepper, cherry tomatoes..., and sweet potato wedges. :P

Tonight will be the keilbasa we didn't have last night, the carrots we didn't have last night and some pasta, since I don't feel like potatoes.

The pizza last night really screwed me up. I think we are having it too much. I woke up with chect pains and problems breathing. Got checked out, turns out, I "bruised" my heart while sleeping and I also had heartburn from the pizza. Nothing serious, but I have to be careful of what I eat now and I have to be careful of how I sleep.

Chicken pot pie, mashed potato, cranberry/pomegranate juice. Chocolate Little Debbie heart cake for dessert.

More curried lentils, fat free ham with fat free mayo on whole wheat bread. A healthy handful of raw greens.

I enjoy oats, but I dont eat breakfast, Botti. My idea of breakfast is one cup of very good coffee and whatever meds are required. I like breakfast foods, just later in the day. You are the second person to suggest oats. Maybe I could have them at lunch or supper?

Can't see why not. My husband is a big believer in oatmeal. And niacin. It was just in the news that niacin is better for lowering cholesterol than some of the prescription medicine. (Probably not to be taken together?)

To stay on topic, I think we are ordering pizza tonight.

I had salad last night just so I could lose another pound and I did. I see pizza here and I feel like I gained 7.

Fish for dinner tonight.

See you later pizza, perhaps we'll meet again when I lose 10 pounds mark. :cool2:

No idea yet, I pray that we will have uno's for dinner today. : crossed fingers :

Oh I love making dinner so it's going to be my very delicious meatloaf and the potato wedges. It is so easy to make those and I must admit I love calorie-ladened meals!!

Last night was Olive Garden and tonight depends on which way the wind blows.

Look up Scottish recipes; for a long time in their history, oats was their only grain.
