Dinner tonight will be Tangy pepperoni chicken casserole (frozen dinner), tossed salad and a loaf of French bread.

The dinner had cheese so I did not have it. I had a different dinner that MIL wanted out of the house. It had 3 meatballs, rice pilaf, lima beans and peas. It's some kind of meal that was sent by way of the doctor. She got about 30 of them, all different and did not like them. Since there was no dairy in them, I got most of them.

Wirelessly posted

Mexican food!

"Honked" and blowed (my nose) my way into the kitchen...found a can of chicken noodle soup and some "quackers" and some orange juice....2 asprins and just a little Nyquil...(ugg....ewww)....terrific dinner!

Tonight I will be making Beef Stew. I need to get moving and get it started soon. We will have the beef stew with dinner rolls. Tomorrow is the big bash. Hope it doesn't rain.

sweetcorn toasties oh i love it, then 3 hrs laters got a twitch so i bombed half a bottle of a 5 year old Pinot Gris (at max recommended bottle cellared age) and it was like French wine, unreal -fantastic- sublime -run out of words ! it was that good, pleased i took care of its cellaring, i was fussy fussy fussy as hell as it paid off spectacularily! wonderful so id try keep 3 bottle ageing well for in case one of you americans/canadaian/english ADers visits me in real life, Id be pleased to host and share that special New Zealand made benchmark wines...fantastic!
oh the sweetcorn toasties is one of my fav and it worked so nicely...simple yes but great!

normally pinot gris's only lastes 2 years or go 'sharp' at 3 then bitter at 4, then 5 gone like vinegar, this one is a real premium, it peaks at 5 will drop sharply at 7, i decided 5 years is right on, best not muck around with a delicate hard-to-grow-frail white grapes...
it works , hunches do work well with wines- to a point...

Today's dinner will be: Burgers and hot dogs on the grill, baked beans, chips, carrot and celery sticks and for desert we will have grilled peach halves with ice cream. The family has vanilla beach with chocolate and I have coconut almond crunch made with coconut milk.

I need to prepare stuffed Kongs for the dogs and get the "calming music" CD ready to play for when we leave - mostly for the youngest dog's benefit to try and prevent sound reactivity-

I had six ounces of Sirlion steak, fries and Cesar salad at Texas. I did not want to go out to eat at all but because the power was out, I couldn't cook at home.

I just roasted a couple of chicken breasts, and will slice them and put on top of a green salad. Maybe some cranberries and apples, too...with a balsamic dressing.
