Chicken, yellow rice and California blend vegetables.
just had a bloody nice lunch, sausages, eggs on toast, not gonna say what kinds were they, but all i can say these were at the calibre of the connoisseur's...and i made it all on my own...except i couldnt lay eggs of my own - it was real farm fresh though so it still counts...lol
so no dinner tonight, just a tub of yogert, as you see these days i have big lunch and small dinner...
That is the healthy way to eat. Smallest meal in the evening, because you burn fewer calories then.
We are having tacos and oatmeal cranberry cookies. Catering to the 10 year old's tastes tonight.

Yes, we get a variable diet that way Last night we had corn fritters and the night before broccoli cream soup. I am still finding ways to get the youngest to eat his vegetables. So far its working :P
Corn fritters always work! My neice is not much of a veggie eater, either. Those picky eaters can be a challenge, can't they? I have never seen a child that wants to subsist on carbs and sugar before.
My youngest son told me the other day that I was the 'greatest cook ever' because I cook all his favourite foods. Pizza, spaghetti, pumpkin soup, broccoli cream soup, macaroni with cheese, corn fritters and my tomato sauce. I also make potato chips. All homemade. He loves it. I make pancakes, french toast, bacon and eggs, and rice porridge for breakfasts. His Dad cooks the local cuisine and he is an excellent cook, our son likes that sometimes, but his preference is Mum's cooking.
fish pie and a scotch ale, yum
Fish pie? Never heard of that before.
I had lobster pie when I visited in Maine. But never fish pie. Sounds interesting.
So many different foods but so little time!
