It won't hurt to try but you are probably right, it probably won't work but you can always move here and get the cool slide sidekick :mrgreen:

Actually, one of my friend imported a Blackberry 8330 from AT&T and our Major telecommunication, Telstra SIM card works for it. And I think it would work fine with mine, because ALL sidekicks in Australia are with telstra.
