Same here..I thank them and wish them a nice day too. I know that they work unreasonable hours so I am appreciative of them. I dont know why some deaf people dont get it. Geez...

And its still coming down in thick huge flakes. I'll see how it plays out in the morning. If we do work it'll probably be a late start time since we have already missed one day of production, if we miss two we're guaranteed to work if not this Saturday, then definitely the next two Saturdays to get caught up. A co-worker of mine called and said if we miss another day we'll me working Sunday as well. Thats a load of crock. What happens then is we'll work 7 days straight and will have to be paid double overtime for at least one of those days. I dont think the company wants that.

As for me if we're off tomorrow my paycheck wont be worth the paper its printed on, :eek:

AWWW..what a bummer. If we close work, we have to make it up in June. So far, 3 days will need to be made up. I hope no more snow days!!! I dont like my summer breaks being cut short.
 
oh well at least I have money put back for times like these, but lets just say I wont be going anywhere, lol.
 
I am home after a week away oversea to celebrate wedding anniversary. My hubby and I have been married for 25 years on 5th March. We had a great time. :)
 
Congrats on your 25th! 25 years is almost unheard of these days.

Thanks Dixie, 25th year is silver anniversary over here and my hubby brought me a silver chain necklace. :)

Congrats on your 25th anniversary... mine is coming up for 23rd anniversary on March 20th but you beat us on this part!!! :wiggle:

Lucky you celebrating with a break overseas !! We celebrated our 25th too last year with a trip up the Sunshine Coast ... rained practically the whole week! :)

Must be the wettest holiday in your life despite these tropical storms over the summer season up in the queensland coast, isn't it?

Yes, it was the wettest we ever had but as you know, it was needed to break the drought .... in the South-East Queensland region on the whole, we had a very pleasant summer to our surprise. Not like Perth, where they were having high temperatures practically every day!
 
Yeah, true - they needed to break the drought and that goes the same for the NSW region too :D

Thanks Ozzie! We thought it is cheaper to go to Bali than going anywhere in Aust for a nice resort to celebrates. We stayed in a 5 star resort with security over there while in Aust, we couldn't afford a 5 star here. It is ridicilous over here is charge a fortune. Everything is cheap in Bali. We had both some sunny and some with heavy rains. We were told it is their wet season.
