Deaf People

Hello, my name is Nikki and I'm just wondering something that's needs an answer. Why are deaf people so mean to the relay operators? Do you guys not understand that without us, you guys would not be able to hold telephone conversations? I'm just curious as to why I have to be called a bitch for doing my job. Can somebody help me out?

Wow, I'm surprises someone would call you that. I try to make it a point to thank the relay operators when I'm done with making calls. I also try to say please if asking to make new calls. Sorry to hear you are being treated that way. I appreicate the work you guys do and feel free to tell others that I appreicate it too..

i just wake up from nap 45 min ago then watch tv which my favorite show is (7th the heaven) from my own collect dvd :)
 
well, my wife and i painted one of our bedroom and no loner PINK! its green now.

Thinking maybe soon time to park both of our snowmobile on the trailer for the season.

Me too I always said please, thanks.. then after i am done with the call i said thank you so much and have a great day/night! If its Christmas I would say Merry Christmas, etc. Trying to be nice. I know there are some people who are being rude or doesnt know the etiquettes enough to use the relay calls.

Thank you, Relay operators for doing your jobs.. just dont worry about those who are being rude.. i guess it was one of their bad days. Cheer up- This is not the end of the world! :)
 
Ive never used relay but its slowly getting to that point as I now have to struggle to listen to the person on the other end of the phone. But I do appreciate your work to make our lives easier, although some deafies take relay for granted. Im sorry you were treated so badly, but hope the good outweighs the bad. :)

In other news my DD has pink eye! Not serious as we caught it early. I took her to the doctor straight away after work yesterday. (Her teachers saw it around 2:30 pm and they knew I would be there to get her at 3:00 so they didnt need to call - they just isolated her in a room with some toys while the other kids went outside and played - and a teacher was there with her) But we had a fairly good experience at the clinic, our wait time was short altogether it took us about an hour and 15 mins to get in and out. The doctor prescribed her anti-biotic eye drops which she has to take for 3 days. Her school policy is children with pink eye have to be on the eye drops for 24 hours before returning to school so Im at home again for the 2nd day this week. Something tells me Im not going to have a very good check for this week.
 
I been busy today, and had bad day too.. sigh.. but i will be ok..
