Well its Friday afternoon - the weekend has finally arrived!

Im surfin' AD with a cup of coffee while my DD is enjoying episodes of SpongBob Squarepants.

I have no big plans for the weekend other than to plan on going photosnapping of the fall colors, they have really popped out in the last 2-3 days. I also need to go to Walmart for some much needed hair gel, some personal items, and I may do some light car shopping just to get an idea of what's available in the area and what I can actually afford so I can get a good idea of what I need to be looking for. I do know I want either a truck or an SUV, no weenie cars or 'light trucks'. Im willing to buy a vehicle that is a couple years older to get the truck feel - and yes Im willing to pay at the pump as well, it just means I can't go driving all over the country everyweekend.

Also has anyone gotten started on their holiday shopping yet? I for sure need to get started on mine!

You got that right! I decided to hold off until a better time- I need to wait until about mid-week and at 6:00 am, lol. I almost forgot that wal-mart is covered up from November until about mid-January.

I did however purchase a 'Christmas Story' t-shirt that I will not unveil until after Thanksgiving.

And I finally got pics of the leaves! At first I wasnt getting the crisp vibrant colors I was seeing with my eyes on the camera - so I went to full on manual mode and kept tweaking and tweaking until I got it and the bad part was my battery was almost dead by the time I got it right. Later on - I wil go around town and add some more. So check the photo comp thread - Im adding them as I go.
 
Finally, I am home and all of my families are out of town for weekend. I had fun to go to Casino and put 1.50 in bingo eletrical game. I won 75.00 today and I spend 8 dollar for fancy ice cream and now I am feeling so stuff and ready to go bed. (Sigh) (Burp) excuse me

I ate TGIF (Thanks God it's Friday) by myself and had a huge Oreo pie with candle which waitress provide. It was good and yummo!
 
Happy birthday to VanG!

Just got back from a surprise 40th bday bash for my good friend. Had a great time and now just relaxing before going to bed. :)

I got to meet RedheadGrrl Friday night. :) We had dinner at Longhorn restaurant. We all had nice time chatting for few hours! I am glad I got to meet her after talking to her since 1997 online. Finally! 10 years is too long! ha!

I went to ASL Expo today at Pittsburgh. I got to see old friends from NTID. It was wonderful to see them again. I also met several friends that I met online from other forum. I am glad I got to meet them! :) :)

Then I went to the Holiday party hosted by PAD. I had a wonderful time! I got to meet another 2 friends from other forum there! I had a good buzz! I laughed and laughed. It was fun! I am glad I went there! hehe!

Now it is time for me to turn in as it is getting late! yikes! ha! So good nite to all! :)

my date took me to washington, dc for sightseeing and visit Gally.. then on the way back I immed redheadgrrl if she will not be busy to meet us? so we stopped at longhorn restaurant to meet redheadgrrl and have dinner there! thats how! :P hehehe...

FC - I am so glad you are having a blast at D.C. sightseeing and all. Ive always wanted to visit D.C. to see all the traditional tourist attractions such as Washington Monument and the Vietnam Veterans wall but I also want to see the attractions that are often overlooked that would be of great interest to me such as the Smithsonian and of course who can leave out Gally although I may never be a student there. Does Gally have a museum on campus that chronicles Deaf history in this country?
 
And Im about to switch to the laptop if this damned computer monitor doesn't stop going blank on me every 5 minutes!

The desktop computer itself is. The monitor keyboard and mouse are actually newer, lol. But the whole thing just needs replacing. Dad is a diehard and refuses to upgrade despite its showing signs of crashing soon. Thats why I bought the laptop. I'll be the one laughing when he can no longer access his email and ebay, :lol:
 
What a nice weather today! 57...I wore short even though I stayed inside the house beside I took trashes out.
 
It was nice here too! I got off work early at 11 and I enjoyed the afternoon outside! It was PERFECT!
