What weird food did you eat when you were a kid?

My mom says I used to eat onions as if they were apples, yuck. And I used to like raw olives but I can't eat them anymore cause they are too bitter for me.
 
Tomato sandwiches, because of the book, Harriet the Spy. She ate them in the book and it was a big favorite of mine and I wanted to be just like her.

tomato sandwiches are common in my family... with a dash of salt and pepper, and perhap some mustard or mayo (or both) on it.

I can't remember weird food when I was a kid..
 
although I STILL eat this weird food, I don't consider it weird. I eat Peanut Butter, Banana and Mayonaisse sandwiches.
 
I have always put Haberno sauce in everything I ate, including spagetti.
 
bull tongue sandwich ! one of my sister's friend came over during lunch and we were eating bull tongue sandwich on black bread and the guy said it looked good so we made him one , he loved it and wanted another one. halfway through his second sandwich he asked what kind of meat it was and we told him bull tongue , he thought we were joking until he opened up his sandwich and saw the sliced tongue on the bread . The Poor guy ran to the bathroom and vomit!
 
PB on crackers (saltine one, and still eating it whenever I am in mood for them), Grilled cheese with ketchup, still do today (almost any sandwich I put ketchup on it) Cracker with jelly (once a while, still eat that too!) MMM! YUM!

I don't remember what I ate so weird....
 
my mom tells me I had a period where I would really only prefer to eat Cheerios. Specifically Cheerios, not any other kind of "o" cereal. I also have been told I had the same with bananas.

I use mayo when made eggs salad sandwiches, I do not eat eggs sandwiches,
French toast is nothing like an egg sandwich ,French toast has milk and eggs in it . ketchup and milk sound awful to me.

I had pickles in my salad too , it not bad. I use to love the big fat pickles you could buy for a nickle when I was kid! They cost more than that today!
