Israel women trafficking soars
Between 3,000 and 5,000 women have been smuggled into Israel in the past four years to work as prostitutes, according to a parliamentary inquiry.
The report described how the women are sold at public auctions for as much as $10,000 and forced to work up to 18 hours a day.

On average the women receive only three percent of the money they earn from prostitution, the report said.

Most of the women are from the former Soviet Union.

Many are raped and beaten as they are smuggled into Israel over the Egyptian border, the inquiry found.

Zehava Galon, of the opposition Yahad Party, presented the report to the speaker of the Knesset on Wednesday.

"We began this inquiry to investigate the extent of this phenomenon and raise political awareness of their plight and the brutal nature of the trafficking of women in this time of globalisation," said Ms Galon.

She said the biggest challenge in addressing the plight of women in the sex trade was changing the attitudes of the Israeli public and police.

The inquiry also criticised judges for passing light sentences, sometimes only community service, for men running prostitution rings.

The report called for minimum jail terms of 16 years for those convicted. London-based rights group Amnesty International and the US State Department have also reported an alarming increase in prostitution rings in Israel.

Read it again, Notice the Israelis do auctioneering bids for the women in the public square. No another country does that, Not even Amsterdam does public auctions for sex slaves in the public square. Amsterdam treats their women much better but not by much in the Red Light District.

There is nothing wrong with having Jewish Congressmen. They are Americans, not Israelis.

Yes then their concern should remain American and let the Israelites take care of their national needs and if they need our help then we should be able to vote wheter we should or should not do that. We can't just give an estimated $15 billion dollars to Israel on the spot then how can we budget for our own U.S. Armed Forces much less anything else for social programs. I mean that is not right to just hand over $15 billion dollars on the spot without any consideration to the American voters.

Right but what they don't say is that the Russian based criminal gangs who are running those prostitution rings are jewish guys themselves which shocked me when I was told that by the jewish women who were trying to collect as many signatures at a 3 day event on the street where they had tables folded out with chairs, banners up and they had free koolaid and some cookies and I talked to them on paper and pen and I signed the petition and I will sign the petition again if I do run into them again.

THE POLITICALLY CORRECT CHRIST?

Was Jesus politically correct? What a question! It must be asked however. The reson it must be asked is simply that ALL True Christians should seek to emulate Christ. Similarly all true churches should seek to be like Christ. And since we see such an effort to be so unoffending, and so, well...politically correct, the question must be answered.

Let's define political correctness. First of all it is hypocritical and deceitful. It means that you will seek to avoid offending at all costs. In fact, to avoid offending is better than to speak the truth. That is if your goal is to be "PC". This is where terms like "Alternative Lifestyles"are used as replacements for "homosexual partnerships", and "Undocumented Immigrant" for "Illegal Alien".

Neither one was as much of an issue in Jesus' time as they were today. But what was a big issue was the desecration of the temple by thieves, and the dilution of God's Word by the Pharisees and Sadducees. Read the following scriptures and tell me whether Christ was worried about being "PC".

...Christ was pretty clear in how He dealt with that which was scripturally wrong. He was a kind and gentle man at times, but an "in your face" teacher when challenged. He didn't worry that the Pharisees would go home and feel offended, nor did He concern Himself with their "self-esteem". He told it like it was and said what was on his mind. That is how we must be and not like some pusilanimous nice-guy-at-all-costs preachers whose only goal is to make sure they offend no-one as they teach wrong doctrine.

Was Christ politically correct? Absolutely not! Let us be likewise.

Yes, Jesus Christ was not "politically correct", and He was bold in His statements. But He was also 100 percent correct in His knowledge and statements. He was Truth and spoke truth. No "opinions" or wrong perspectives. Jesus knew the score. He wasn't paranoid. Jesus could speak boldly because He was righteous AND right.

We humans need to be more careful about our statements. Yes, we can speak boldly but we really need to check our facts first, AND check our motives for what we say. Don't worry about "political correctness"; worry about being "biblically correct".

Jesus was perfect; we are not.
