Haven't seen it yet. Usually, I'm a bit hesitate to watch new TV shows, don 't want to watch something that will be a flop

When a couple is in a open relationship it generally shows that they are sexually mature than couples that aren't in an open relationship.

People in open relationships have a a responsible sex life than those that practice adultery. The couples are open and honest with one another and usually have rules that they abide by. Such as i.e. no exchange of phone numbers, don't have sex with the same person again, etc.

Like one poster said above--it's not for everyone.
 
I am with all of Shel90's post but I didn't know about Will Smith and Jada's open marriage.. :eek3:


I know 2 couples in England. They opened to me that they lead open marriage for years since their first visit to World Disneyland in Florida. Until one of two couples got pregnant which their children were teenagers, that's time. She don't know which father until the test prove that other is father of her baby, not her own husband. After that, they quitted to lead open marriage.


 
I respectfully disagree...open relationship does not mean they are sexually mature...it shows they are sexually insecure. I don't see how it is a responsible sex life. Pregnancy still can happen if a condom breaks...so can STDs.

before you start killing me, im just stating this for stake of discussion in this thread, it is not an intent to attack you ok Gemma. Just its something I reckon, it has alot to do with many many people in most societies.
here goes;
hmmmmm it could be said that this is another form of immaturity to which can mean you are not mature enough to go beyond a 1 sexual/legal partner in relationahips
 
Well, in that case, Grummer, if I follow that logical thinking then it means I'm very immature. LOL!

AS Christian's opinion and belief - I prefer to follow what my Bible said. An open relationship is just... :shakes head: a BIG no-no. I don't see how open relationships work so well so I really think it's pretty bad idea. :shock:

I hate to say this, but it DOES seem that a lot of folks who are into stuff like this, have significent issues. They don't understand that its the quality of the relationship that matters, not nessarily being "sexee" A lot of the pro open relationship folks I've met almost seem to be all about sex empowerment.
You CAN learn (if you go to a sex therapist) abt ways to make sex better, if a partner isn't great in bed.
I can hazard a guess that it was Will Smith's idea to do this. For guys it seems to be all about stroking their "I have a big dick and can still get the ladies" attitude.
I mean there's got to be something wrong with you if you're not totally mad crazy "best friends" in love with your current partner.

It is about sex empowerment.
 
It is a couple's business if they decide to have an open relationship. Keep yer nose outta it, you know?

It does not shock me nor do I have the need to judge couples who decide on it, though I'm strictly an one-person girl.

I would hesitate to follow the Biblical model of what healthy relationships are -Jacob married both Rachel and Leah (suggesting bigamy is a-ok in the eyes of God). Lot did the nasty with his daughters. I mean, they couldnt have taken enough jugs of beer with them in a hurry to make him so drunk that he blacks out and did the deed.. presumably again and again.

I feel the same as u. That's why I dont have an opinion on other people's sex lives nor I judge others based on what they do in their sex lives. It is ridiculous to do that in my book.

No need for killing here - I enjoy listening to other people s views.................:)

Interesting how we could have so different perspective of this - I would have never thought of myself being immature merely because I firmly believe in monogamy but I agree to disagree with you respectfully :)
