What If Zimmerman Walks Free?

I'm not talking about bus driver so it is just during his suspension and live with relative.

So, you are saying he had been good so fat that day?

Txgolfer means that the bus driver was hit by TM so that proves that he was a violent kid, not a sweet kid.

or how about this.... Zimmerman had a cellphone and was talking to 911 dispatcher. he told dispatcher that Trayvon's looking real suspicious and he's got something in his hand. he also later told detective that Trayvon was circling around his car and he felt very threatened about it that he closed up his window.

so why did he get out anyway? cuz he's got a gun and he's itchy to use it, waiting for Trayvon to give him an excuse to shoot him?
If GZ was telling the truth, then why did TM do that? and why didn't he go home instead? I know why. Because he blew up which was not necessary. Please agree with that just once.

Those claim isn't going present in the court.

Your prove about TM is violent person is just bogus.

Who said anything about court???? You claimed Trayvon was not violent.

It's possible that GZ's lawyer wants to use the driver as a witness to TM's violent behavior.

Quite possible.......If he intends to claim Trayvon attacked him that would be a good witness to call.

Why was Trayvon "circling" Zimmerman's car or his vehicle?...Perhaps trying to get into it...or doing some damage to the vehicle....And again, if Trayvon was "scared" of Zimmerman, he would have kept on running, called the police on his cell phone and hid somewhere, even ran on back home.

As far as Zimmerman "itching" to shoot Trayvon, no way! I don't even believe the shooting would have taken place if Trayvon had not attacked Zimmerman and beating him "MMA" style....And the fact that drugs were found in Trayvon's system, could also be the culprit of his rage.....

Trayvon was not "an angel"...He was suspended from school...drugs in his back pack...punched a bus driver....even some burglary tools were found in his back pack at one time....

If that's the case and since he had traces of marijuana in his blood and urine and was caught earlier in February regarding marijuana paraphernalia and residua in a bag he carried and couldn't get his fix and got irritable and angry since then right up to the shooting?

Marijuana withdraw symptoms include, irritability, anger, depressed mood, headaches, restlessness, lack of appetite, and cravings for marijuana. Symptoms of marijuana withdrawal first appear in serious habitual users within the first 8 hours and are the most noticeable during the first 10 days, but withdrawal symptoms may last as long as 45 days The withdrawal from marihuana is identifiable by behavioral and emotional distress.
Marijuana withdrawal And Symptoms of Marijuana Addiction

Caught and suspended for marijuana:

That suspension was followed four months later by another one in February, in which Trayvon was caught with an empty plastic bag with traces of marijuana in it. A schools police report obtained by The Miami Herald specifies two items: a bag with marijuana residue and a “marijuana pipe.”

The punishment was the third for the teen. On Monday, the family also said Trayvon had earlier been suspended for tardiness and truancy.

Trayvon was shot to death Feb. 26 while serving out his suspension in Sanford, where his father’s girlfriend lives.

And how long does marijuana stay in the body?

On the other hand, urine tests for marijuana metabolites can only show recent marijuana use, not intoxication or impairment, because of the time required between smoking and the metabolites being eliminated in the urine. However, because many employers have a zero tolerance for drug use, most workplaces use urine tests for any recent use of drugs.

How Long Can Marijuana Be Detected?
Some THC metabolites have an elimination half-life of 20 hours. However, some are stored in body fat and have a elimination half-life of 10 to 13 days. Most researchers agree that urine tests for marijuana can detect the presence of the drug in the body for up to 13 days.

However, there is anecdotal evidence that the length of time that marijuana remains in the body is affected by how often the person smokes, how much he smokes and how long he has been smoking. Regular smokers have reported positive drug test results after 45 days since last use and heavy smokers have reported positive tests 90 days after quitting.
How Long Does Marijuana Stay in the Body?

If he did indeed assaulted a bus driver 5 days before the shooting that is perhaps because he was in a withdrawal phase and couldn't get his marijuana fix led to his irritability and anger enough to lash out at the bus driver and his aggressiveness towards GZ that night?

Who knows but it's an interesting theory. I can't put much stock into that since I don't have all of the facts before me. I'm sure the court will ask the questions on just how much he smoked marijuana and whether he was addicted to marijuana and that he got caught, so to speak, he probably had to go cold turkey that month in February which could've led to aggressiveness, anger, and irritability. Wouldn't be far fetched for the court to ask that question.

We'll have to wait and see I guess. Nothing is ever sure once the court case begins

Maybe he should run for Congress. I mean ....gee....my gun killed less people than Ted Kennedy's car.

What does Ted Kennedy have to do with this? Do you ever stop trolling for Liberals? Why, I'll make a case for the soldiers killed in Iraq because Bush sent them there to clear his daddy's name.

There, we have successfully attempted to hijack this thread into another Libs versus Cons debate. Your move.

civil court does not have same stringent standard as criminal court.

All the lawyer had to argue was that Trayvon's death was completely avoidable and demonstrate that Zimmerman:

1. had a history of violence
2. had complaints against him
3. had arrest records
4. had made series of poor decisions

And about the same for Trayvon!...

1) suspended from school
2) drugs found in his backpack
3) punched a bus driver
4) burglary tools found in his back pack
5) drugs found in his system the night he died

his death could have been avoided if he had not attacked Zimmerman...circling his vehicle...had went on home or where he was living...called the police on his cell phone (as Zimmerman did)....

BTW, how many different ways are we gonna debate this thing? I see all these threads with different names, but the end results are the same: different music, same dance partners. Geez.

By now people would've figured out that Ted Kennedy's car "killed" only one person and that was the drowning of Mary Jo Kopechne courtesy of a coward.

In other words, Steinhauer's gun didn't kill anybody. Less than 1 means zero.

Hey, let's discuss Chappaquiddick in a thread about Zimmerman! Perfect!

Certainly, and he didn't call for 911 help on the phone, did not run home if he felt something wasn't right, etc.... maybe he felt invincible that night...maybe both guys felt invincible that night... I guess we'll wait and see. I don't have all of the facts before me. It could go either way.

You could bring it up in a new thread but this is mostly a Zimmerman/Trayvon's thread. Just pointing something out about Steinhauer's comment.

His death could have been avoided if his father had been keeping an eye on him instead of letting him walk around at night. Especially since he had been suspended from school. This was completely avoidable if Trayvon's parents had actupent spent some time......parenting. Trayvon's death, while tragic, pales in comparison to the tragedy that was his life. The sad part is that Jiro is probably right and these parents who inflicted tragedy upon this child for 17 years are in for a big payday.

That was his plan; to get another zinger in about a Democrat, regardless of the relevance or amount of time since it occurred. You do see the direction, yes? I understand you have no qualms with adding a few items to this kind of anti-Democrat remark, but it was a pretty transparent hijacking attempt.

What about Watergate?
