Might sound weird but well there has been several celebrities that have died of overdose after having gone to rehab. What if there was a serial killer who specialize don celebrities and kills then in a way it makes it look like they overdose? Just an idea that's all..

I will bet that if you wrote that story it could be made into a good tv story or make a nice novel.

Well if it was that obvious you would think that the police department would have it all figured out with noticing the same person that happens to show up every time around the time of the victim's deaths.

Yeah the killings would all the same MO . Like Charles Manson .

Has bad as it sounds, due to the drug addict previous to rehab, even in an investigation it will be seatcjed first if it was due to overdose. If they conclude that it was no further investigation os made to what i know. So if someone was to stage an "overdose" death and have good ways to hide he/she was there. Even of a person was to consoder it murder, there is always issue of finding finherprints and other stuff to even proof someone was in same room as victim.

The city of Anchorage Alaska had so many homeless inebriates die in a two year period that many wondered if someone was doing some kind of serial killing in a way that proved to be not detectable. It is common practice for law enforcement to withhold evidence in their search for answers. Maybe who ever it is whacking celebrities started off there with a less in the public spotlight target group.
Just bouncing off your theory here.

Well high profile victims are usually homeless, runaways, prostitutes and i know im missing one. It could work as "practoce" or looking for more of a challenge.

I suspected practice and development of technique myself. It is the ugly side of truth that these people are vulnerable and the world they live in places them in the less valued therefore less likely to have a big investigation.
Whenever I see numbers start to go against what on a gut level I consider to be the odds the suspicious mind goes to work, hmm, what is going on here?

whoa...... I definitely want what you're snorting/smoking/popping/drinking.

Well Dreamer I would say first of all there is motive? Head banger music makes me want to kill I am sure it has the same effect on others. Uh oh now I am a suspect!
There are a lot of politicized people in the entertainment world. Not only can they buy the best drugs they can handle a microphone while hosing away their earnings. There is a political war going on in America and it is a battlefield littered with the dead bodies of Democrats who have died accidental deaths, sudden heart attacks, and assassinations.
We are supposed to believe this is just random events at work. Kind of like 9/11 when two buildings were struck by aircraft and a total of three buildings went down just like every in place demolition ever photographed.
In building a theme for your story what would be your motive?

i think serial killers have tried celbs other than Manson,or that maybe a film i seen..
i dont think serial killers go in for od they more violent

"High profile" victims refer to individuals who are well-known and in the public eye, such as government officials or media celebrities. Those would be the opposite of homeless people, runaways or prostitutes (unless they were already famous people who took a downward spiral in life). Homeless people, runaways, and prostitutes usually maintain a low profile in public.

Individual crimes can become high profile if they are given more than the usual media attention.

Those i mention are high prfile victims because they are in a sense "easiest to kill" because not many will notice their deaths or just dont have anyone looking for them. A celebrity wour be consider high profile because pretty much it would be everywhere in news if they dissapered or were murdered. Motive could really be anuthing from just feeling like it, having some issue with velebreities that use drugs, had some more in mind when i remember ill write them.

We've heard enough and gave enough attention to serial killers. I don't want to add to it. The less stories about serial killers, the better.

Exactly. That's why those are called "low profile" victims.
