Some soliders have to stick until their contracts are end.. .Unfortunlately, they feel being betray by government... example: Few months before their contracts end, they were being demand to go Iraq war and extend their contract. What is this?

The hot rumors at my work that the government plans to have draft back... I am not surprised about this because they KNOW a lot of soliders refused to go to Iraq war.

We already knew if we sign up for it then we have to stay till contract is done unless u become disabled then they will discharge u . It does not make sense if they did not know they can get in trouble if they went awol.

I have no idea about this except my neice spend 8 years in AF then when Iraq war started she finished her duty and left AF. It goes same with her husband after spend few months in Afghan then soon after he reitred.. All I know those men and women who went to Iraq made good money. One guy who stop by here to visit us once awhile, he is friend of our son, is joining reserved national guard next week and he already knew the risk but he needs money to support his wife and two kids. He makes the choice.

Only reason they may thinking about draft is because not enough men and women to join up but so far nothing happen and I think they have enough men and women in the service.

Read my statement again and think carefully, Ma'am. I stated "Many people have a bad habit of not reading, researching and pondering first before they make decisions WILLINGLY whether or not they will want to enlist."

It is extremely common they send recruiters to the schools and colleges to talk to them and convince them to enlist without saying anything about the contracts ALL THE TIME for YEARS. That's advertisement. We also see the armed forces commericals on the TVs, and newspapers ALL THE TIME. We already know for YEARS that the recruiters will say anything to get them to ENLIST. The problem is People do NOT know how to research carefully first before they enlist and sign the contracts. We all know that once you know the circumstances of the armed forces system that is already screwed up. But if you don't care about the way the system runs, you decide to enlist and sign the contracts anyway. Bam! The government owns you. If you want to get out, you can't because of the contracts. That's the way it works. People just don't BOTHER to research first before they make decisions to enlist or not. Plain and Simple. They don't know how to use common sense. They need to learn to ASK the questions before they enlist. Easy. Really.

Ma'am, That's old news. The bill has been brought up three times for four years and always fuels false RUMORS. They are political stunts! It is NOT the first time that Congressman Charles Rangel brought up the draft bill. He is even a democrat. He is the one who keeps bringing the draft back to the Congress for FOUR YEARS. The American people absolutely despise him.

FACTS:

In 2003, Democrat Congressman Charles Rangel pulled the political stunt when he himself brought the Universal National Service Act of 2003 bill to the U.S. House. The whole U.S. House laughed at him and it took 402 VOTES to say NAY! Congressman Charles Rangel ALSO VOTED AGAINST HIS OWN BILL. There were only TWO dudes said AYE! The bill went down in the toliet. *flushs*

The reason why Congressman Charles Rengel pulled the stunt is because he is anti-war and wanted to SCARE psychologically the crap out of the American people that the draft COULD happen, which it NEVER happens literally. The political term's called "Scare Campaign". That's why and how it ENCOURAGES the young American people and parents to become paranoid and start researching the enlistment contracts and everything first BEFORE they enlist. That is the act of propandagism.

That crazy Congressman Charles Rangel absolutely never gives up. He keeps riling up the American people all the time. That's how the rumors spread like a brushfire. Those people don't know how to shut up when they don't bother to separate the facts from rumors first.

When the rumors died for brief, He decided to bring up that the Universal National Service Act of 2006 AGAIN to FUEL more false RUMORS to scare the people more. It was not even debated in the Congress. US Media even didn't mention it. That bill had gone nowhere.

Now, This is his THIRD attempt to bring back the Universal National Service Act of 2007 AGAIN. That's how the politicians (some of them are lawyers) enjoy manipulating and misleading the public and the military. That's why your soldiers at work keep gossiping about false rumors and start worrying and don't bother to pay attentions to the facts. Why do you think some don't bother to research the contracts first before they enlisted? They're still ignorant the whole time and don't bother to look up the facts.

I predict the U.S. House and Charles Rangel would vote NAY again The U.S. House is going to have to clean the toliet again, so they can flush the Universal National Service Act of 2007 bill down the toliet. What a waste of money.

Hey, Charles Rangel! We do not want to see the sighting of your phony draft bills again. We already know that for YEARS and damn it, just stop bringing up your phony bills, quit voting against your own bills constantly and waste our tax payers' money and time. Stop spreading false rumors all the time when we have already know that the whole DC strongly oppose the draft the whole time.

The only possibility i can see of a draft is if something HUGE happens.

Pork bills is one of my pet peeves.

The Air Force, Navy and Marines are at or above their goals for each year.

The Army is not at their goals, people don't want to sign up for the army or they are signing up but not enough people, from my understanding.

That's the problem.

Yes, Charles Rangel is asinine. I have had peruse his third bill, Universal National Service Act of 2007 before and it was different than the other two bills. The bill is a joke. If you have any petition to recall him, I'd be happy to sign it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I am not a NY resident.

I have heard of Dr. John Perkins. Indeed, Bad companies exist globally. Honestly, I am no Hugo Chavez fan. John Perkins' book is highly controversial. Many people claim he had concocting the lies. I have read numerous comments whether the book is speculation nor is he making money off the book. The State Department had already stated its statement, calling the book, "misinformation". Even though my father worked with the State Department and USDA. But I have not read his book, so I'm not in the position to discuss it.

I am still praying for my friend's safety, her family and her friends in Caracas, Venezuela, since that menace Hugo Chavez had gone too far by shutting down the last private TV station. The TV station managed to send the info to Youtube.com. She also told me immediately after the incident, Hugo was suing CNN and taking it to the trial before the news broke out globally.

She and her brother are the only ones in the family who voted against Hugo Chavez twice. They knew the election was a scam, but couldn't prove it. Her family didn't want to vote because they fear for their lives. She had struggled to find a job because her name is on the black list. Actually, if you apply for a job, every employer has a free access to look up the black list to see if you're against Hugo Chavez or not. Luckily, she did find a job at a 5 star hotel because she speaks numerous languages. She is half English and cannot afford to go and reside in London. She and her brother except her family will be headed to São Paulo if it is imminent. Her friend is considering moving to the US, and probably will request for asylum.

I hope that they find a way to move for a better living in another country or here. I am sure that you could be right that Chavez could be insane, and I don't see anything like that on the news. But, you have the information from your friend, and I do believe it.

You know that it is not a good idea to believe what we see on the news from other countries. Today, the news warns us that some terrorists are coming here - why? The government wants us to think about it and support the government. Bush will may extends his term after his 2nd term is expired so that he able to do his power to run the office a little longer because of the terrorist news. Let's say that the news reporters talk about elections as a final day or so, Bush can cut the media news and put it on another show so that he does not want us to see the election result. Don't expect to believe me until the election days to see what happens.

That's true...

When back in long ago, England were tried to takeover the land, that where 13 colonies are located, also Spain took east near appalachian mountain, southwest, territory of Florida and central/south. Northwest is just nowhere, unconfirmed territory.

I'm not forgot about history.
