I learned that you can lead a liberal to logic but you can't make them think
Learned the opposite. Works as well.

Hope it wasn't a pump then pay gas station!!
No, thank goodness. I have to use the card to start it.
I learned that my front door was open all day and my sweet neighbors called the cops and the cops checked out my house while my hubby and I were at work.
You too!
My door was wide open while I was sleeping.
Refer to the nothing thread.
Seems like it is leave your door wide open day!!
I just have learned that New Zealand Passport have changed again and I wished that I could have waited a few more months longer of my old expired passport to get this new one... but darn oh well as I already have a renewed New Zealand passport and it's nothing like the new one.
Have to wait next 5 years later then renew it again.
I learned about Neurofibromatosis.
I have a friend with NF2. That type is fatal.
I hope it's not one of those terminal illness.
Today, I learned some more painful news. Two weeks ago, my sister Peg held the hand of our mother as she passed away. Today, she learned her husband, married for 21, but together for 34 years, has terminal colon cancer. Any time I feel the urge to complain, I will think about walking in her shoes for a while.

Glad! I was not as fortunate.
Had to use the honor system. Since. One of our local gas stations allow pump then pay. I pleaded with the clerk to allow me to go home to get my wallet.
The only thing that saved me is I told the clerk to take my tag number. She did. And told her to give me 10 minutes. That I'll be back!! She complied as well as I did. It all eventually worked out.
It was an embarrassing moment for me.

True story that you will not believe.....
When I was 6 we moved from one side of Houston to the other (1 1/2 drive) When my dad went to fill up at point B he realized he left his wallet at point A. The attendant said fine go get your wallet be leave something for collateral. My dad was wearing a Rolex but decided he couldn't take a chance on losing it. He left ME as collateral instead. I spent three hours jumping on the cord that makes the bell ding and eating fake Frito's out of a vending machine.....Great day!
