I learned that the mail carrier left a check of mine in the wrong mailbox and building . A neighbor happen to see me outside and called me over and gave me my letter . Someone just left it on the steps in the hallway instead of walking over to my building right next to their. I have no idea how long it was just laying on the steps ! You could tell a check was in the envelope . I was pissed off ! If I get someone mail in my mailbox I give it to the person .

I learned I need to find an ASL class soon. I was at Petco tonight and a woman kept asking me something and I couldn't hear what she was saying. She signed "ASL" to me and although I know a few gestures and the alphabet I had to shake my head no. If perhaps I was more fluent I might have been able to have a conversation about one of my favorite topics dogs.
Can someone help me with a possible Skype tutor?

If it were an express package, it'd have been back to Louisville hub by now to get there on Monday. Since it is not a priority package unfortunately, another day delay.

According to the current tracking, it's still in Davenport, IA, and should be delivered by end of day Tuesday.

It was a 2-day Amazon Prime package.

Since it was UPS's mistake, they should expedite it at their expense but I guess they don't. Very disappointing.

It should have been upgradable.

I just learned that expensive running shoes are not necessarily more comfortable than cheaper ones.

did you run?

expensive running shoes are for running, not walking.

Sorry, these shoes are made for fast walking/slow jogging. I think they will just take time to get use to. I use to be a runner but my knees can't take the pounding anymore, especially after breaking my leg. I'm hoping to do a few 5K's in the spring.

I just learned that 500+ photos I took last year are missing, and I'm not sure how that happened. One thing I know for sure-- this phone needs to go. It's part of the reason why so many photographs are missing.

Do you have an SD card in your phone for extra memory? Could your photos have been saved to that instead of the built-in memory? Does your phone use a cloud backup?

SD card, yes. They automatically get saved there, and they are there, and that's not the problem. The problem is that the photos are missing from G+, and several of those are from my November trip to Palatine-- that hurts. Deaf Expo pictures are gone. :( I also have Photobucket Mobile and Photobucket Desktop, and they are on both, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I know that the phone's camera taking isn't that great, so that may be one possiblilty, but I don't think so. Something else is going on, and I need to figure out what it is.

I guess I don't understand by what you mean your pictures are "gone." To me, "gone" means that you have totally lost them from everywhere.

ah I see. what shoes did you get?

and if you aren't benefitting from your shoes, it's probably cuz it's not the right one for you but then there are many variables that can contribute to your discomfort.

my brother had a right knee problem for a long while. he's a runner and triathlonist. he finally saw a doctor about it. that doctor used to work for NY Mets team. he analyzed my brother's knee problem and said - nope! you don't need a surgery. it's easily fixable. go see this physical therapist.

so he went to see PT and the problem was on his left hip. it was not aligned properly. strange that his misaligned left hip contributes to right knee problem but because of misalignment, it was putting more pressure on his right knee so it makes sense. after few months of chiropractic sessions and physical therapy sessions to build muscle around his knees and legs.... he's all good.
