What did you learn today? Part II

I learned that the guy who had been doing MIL's taxes for the last 20-30 years has passed away. He originally worked with FIL at Pratt & Whitney building the engines for airplanes including Military planes. He retired from there, then since he was already a CPA, opened his own business.

I think so probably guess I might to contact to Gst resolve serious! I aware it! pretty guess!I Hope be solve! tough crap! I contact to counsellor!

The GST (government?) does not give a damn about people. I hope that you will find a way to get your money from the government. If you did not receive a letter from the government about your terminal welfare (closing your account), then you will be fine. Nothing happen to you so far yet.

I learned I'm moody and depressed today. Not sure why.

you are correct I believe it you! not serious, I told to my care giving help me! supportive!!! I have welfare social worker plus I have GST! reason I am not worried! I fill form on paper!

For me, it's heat related. Got that from my therapist.

I thought mine was triggered by lack of sunlight. I know I'm more moody and depressed during the winter months. I usually hit my lowest around February or March. Last year was awful. Having to deal with it after losing my job and no meds was just  times 10. Thank God for friends like 'C & M' that helped me to stay afloat.

I learned that I am older than my years. Seems I grew up and older too fast and I think things differently than most my age. Could be the influence of having my mother live with me all these years, but I also noticed it when I was much younger. Could it be, that in the struggles of growing up in a hearing world with so little hearing, i was forced to become wiser than my years to compensate?

Could be....many people have told me that when they look into my eyes...they see a wise look....:giggle:...(it was hard for them to tell me a lie)

that's what stress can do to your body :(

Actually, I learned "this" several days ago...have been in a "daze" ever since.....but realize it's something that many people don't get a chance to experience......So....I've begun to count my blessings, go with the flow and hope for the best...

I'm gonna be a "Great Grandma" come late February/early March, 2012!!!...Hoping it's a girl....too many Boys in my family.

Congratulations! That's quite a milestone. :)

I learned that there is a youngster who still has not grasped the concepts he needs to grasp in order to engage in adult conversation.

Thank you gals much!....Gonna find and pull out that old rocking chair in a few months (for the baby)...and I'm dying to go shopping, but it's wayyy too early....We've also discussed the possibility of this baby being deaf (genetics)....I was a grandmother at 44, now a "great" grammy at 64....

The cool thing is that you are young enough to really be able to enjoy the new great grandbaby.

I probably won't be an aunt, but I'll likely be a grandmother. Yeah it's hard to imagine myself being a grandmother.

10 years ago, I never imagined myself having ANY children. I thought that of all the cousins in the family, that I would be the last one to have children. I was the second one to have a child.

I also learned nothing new.
