What did you learn today? Part II

That coffee looks good I may have a cup myself ! What brand of coffee do you like , I am still trying to find one I like a lot.
 
I just learned that my oldest sister almost drowned when she went on her last trip ! Damn I was worried something might happen to her and it almost did .
 
I learned some students want me back to teach Zumba:D something to think about
 
I learned that a fast way to turn your white socks brown, is by spilling your morning coffee on it.

Honestly, just my slipper, or house mocs and sock..thats it. almost like there was a bullseye planted right there.

I have spilled coffee on my w/w rug ! I was able to get it off before making a stain. Now you have to spill some coffee on your other slipper so they'll match ! LOL!
 
I learned/remembered why I don't go to the kids' school functions as often as I ought to. Went to the end of year/graduation for my nephew's school (it's a very small school). Sat through the entire thing...only thing I understood/heard clearly for 2 hours was... my nephew's name. Ugh. Family understands why I don't normally go but for big milestones like graduation (no he didn't graduate- still has about another 4 years yet) or marriage I will be there.
 
Today I learned that there's much wrong with society in this world, I was upset hearing that a group threatened to beat up a couple of lifeguards (one of them is my niece) at the water park. My niece is a lifeguard supervisor. The group of guys were ejected by the park security then later my niece had to be escorted to her car for her safety.
 
Yeah people don't take the time to talk things out they rather use violent instead of their brains , it seen like we're going backward instead of forward . I am glad your niece is OK.

That's terrible! They should be thankful for lifeguards, not threatening them.

Happy to know your niece is fine. These kids are immature and often don't realize the consequences of stupid behavior. Tell her to be aware of being followed on the road if the situation gets worse. :hug:
