What did you do today?

Arrived in Phx Sat evening. Yesterday, was my grandmother's 80th birthday party. A good group of people there but best of all, my ex hubby let me pick up my daughter so she could be there even though it was the day before her first day of school. All of my aunts were there, almost all of the cousins (3 were missing) and all the great grandkids were there plus some of my grandmother's friends and her sister. It was a great turn-out. Finally my brother's girlfriend met most of my mom's side. It was so funny seeing her here at my childhood home. I knew her from but never really had any interest in getting to know her for 4 years at work and now, she is here in AZ sleeping in my childhood bedroom. Wierd. LOL! My uncle took her out on his plane last night and my mom was freaking out because she feels responsible for her while she is here. Awwww...

Yesterday and now again, I woke up at 530 am and couldnt go back to sleep. Still on MD time.

Today, will just relax and then re-pack some things for Las Vegas tmw. :)
 
I just left my doctor's office. He says my ulcerr on my leg is healing! :applause:
 
For today, I have read a book, talked to mother's doctor a couple of times, made a run into town and got caught in a few serious downpours. Had to go to the bank, library and Walmart and PepBoys. Fixed dinner, then had to move my car, then ate dinner and here I am. Think I might do a mini-workout with my therabands.
 
I finished reading "Crime and Punishment". Yay, Me!
 
I am transfer my hosting I am very experience lots of sql not work I remove my sites I have new sites I have back up! I wait for coming soon! I am lucky!
 
Ran for an hour, helped my mom with projects around her house and then went to my aunt's house to swim and lounge in her pool. NOw, I feel so relaxed.

rofl............ I can name many soda drinks that does NOT have HFCS in it.

Throwback series from Pepsi, Mexican Coca-Cola, Mexican Fanta (yum), Hansens, Boylans to name a few.

That's good to know of options. Tangerine/Lime Hansens is a great soda , by the way.
 
I stay away from sugar drinks. Well, I buy a Mountain Dew every now and then. But drink sugar drinks all the time is not good fo' yo' stomach. I quit drinking sodas and my blood sugar was in low 70's :)

I won a bid on Ebay this morning. I havent won a bid in yrs. I won a early 90's insert Michael Jordan card. :rockon:

It has been a rather tense night for me (it's morning now) as the riots in London were happening in the streets around me. The shops being looted are shops I walk pass or buy from. Didn't sleep much. We're all taken by surprised at the speed and scale of the riots in London. The area where I live is supposed to be a "safe" area - well it isn't anymore! We had a visitor stay overnight with us as it wasn't safe for her to travel home.
