What did you do today?

Had been at work since 5am til 2pm and took a nap for a bit. Watched a rental movie. Hung out w my friend,Nate, for Art Fair and had a dinner tog. Boy, tmw is gonna be a busy day for me.
 
I arrived LV around 12:30 a.m. from San Francisco via Philadelphia.

Few hours later, I cleaned out my junk and put other junk for donation to needy children. I keep some valuable junk here. Few will ship out to me for selling them on Ebay. My old bedroom is all done. My old papers will go to shredder.

Few more boxes in garage...I have no motivation now due to my old left hip...geez. I will clean out boxes tomorrow morning.

Later, I will hit the pool. :)
 
Got my new earmold tubes today in the mail, plus the tube pliers (stretchers, whatever you call those thingies!) so this will be awesome! No more sticking the tube onto a fork prong for hours to stretch it out :lol:
 
Went to work, then lunch with a dear friend, and then painted my bathroom.
 
Slept late, did morning crap, read a book, took a short nap through a small storm, made lunch, went to JO-Ann Fabrics & Crafts and Walgreens, back home and getting ready to start dinner. Oh, also went to the Town Hall to get our address ad check on a few things in the code allowances. Clotheslines are allowed as long as they are not visible from the road.

I just cut them and stretched them out with the new pliers. Piece of cake !! Loving this! I have done my own tubing for years (except for when I get brand-new molds since they come with tubes already :lol: ) but the pliers was so nice.

I got these all through Microsonic. First time ordering through them. I'm very pleased. The tubes were .22 cents each, you can order whatever quantity you want, so I got 16. The pliers were $24. A worthy lifetime investment. :)

I just told a guy off on youtube - man. It was like my past rearing up at me - he's a dad of a mainstreamed deaf kid and he's the ultimate epitome of what we don't want for deaf kids. My nose is still flaring.

Y'all are quite ambitious in your activities! I slept late, then made a good breakfast, read more on my Nook, went swimming (nearly a mile again, yay, me!!), came back, walked dogs, fed dogs, watched sunset, watched TV. That is the extent of my ambition in this heat.

It is so nice here in Iowa today compared to the past week. In the 90's but without the high heat index, it is like paradise!
 
Just typed a bit over 2,000 words Research Paper.

"Never again." (Started from this morning at 10 till 11 PM) :(

Edit: I had to look for sources, understand them, and interpret it into my words for my paper, but still give credit to the main sources. Make a outline and change the thesis state around as you put in sources and your argumentative viewpoint. Gah. Works Cited page took me 2 hours. :(
 
So far, shower, breakfast, word find book, grocery store (specialty stuff not at Walmart), Whole Foods, home for lunch. Waiting on MIL as she has a chiropractor appointment this afternoon. Taking plenty of water due to heat.
 
Just got off work. It was a busy morning. I love that I can leave early on Fridays as soon as I'm done with my workload for the week. Came out to hot and humid weather (when will this end ??!!!) and came home to my cool AC'd house.
