What did you do today?

Apparently I just bought the Commander of the Cincinnati Police Department coffee this morning, without realizing he was anything more than a regular cop. Seemed like a nice guy, too.
 
Went to put a deposit onto a storage warehouse for our stuff in the garage for the conversion. Went to walmart then came home. Had a 2 hour meeting with the contractor. Made lunch, then took MIL to doctor. Seems she was late and now they won't see her until 5/10. She was in tears from the pain and frustration. It took me and my mother to help her dress and undress. She can hardly walk and it hurts to breathe. Her primary care will not see her until she sees the ortho dr.

Take her to the ER. Then complain about primary care also.

She's been to ER and all they can say is she has a "bruised" muscle and to rest. Today was just a bad day for her since she was in pain all night and didn't sleep well. Now, yesterday, she was better and had no major pain moving with a walker. Today was just tears all the way. I think she just needs rest today. This is part of why she really doesn't want us to move back to Missouri.

Let's see...what did I do today? Saw some clients, did a couple home visits, answered correspondance, took a short break around lunch to visit AD, and now I should be reading and doing some research on some grants, but am chilling here instead.

I went to work, did my phlebotomy practice, and the teacher made some phone calls to get me out on externship.
 
worked, cooked dinner, took my son to his tball game, went shopping for a birthday gift for one of my son's friends who will be having a bday lunch tmw at school, and cleaned the house. I am getting exhausted again..I need more vacation! lol

Worked my ass off at both jobs, got told I didn't deserve to eat, got called a bitch, and now I'm just pissy and sad all at once. Life's just fucking peachy isn't it?

I am not kidding! Sometimes, I wonder the idea of women staying home while their husbands go to work was the right idea because it is like having 2 freaking full time jobs taking care of my child and house while working full time. It is nuts!
