What did you do today?

I went to work , after , I went to practice my phlebotomy skills, did grocery shopping, and cook dinner :)
 
Not a darn thing so far....taking it a little easier today, got an ear ache and swollen gland....early release from school today and Church tonight...so will cook an early supper.
 
Went to the 2 libraries and fixed lunch. Not much and I don't plan on doing much. Too hot. We are at 92 right now.
 
Went to Sam's Club in the icy cold Iowa weather. Invigorating.
 
I intend to take a five-hour lunch break, hah.
 
Kristina we are at 62 degrees currently. Cold front pushing through. Time to pull my hoodies back out...
 
Tastin waves. Hopefully not rocks! :lol: also found the perfect oven for the new guest quarters. It's 35 years old and looks like it just came out of the box!

I want to go to The Plant Cafe again tonight....can a cafe get you for stalking???

It does! :) It has a whole different view coming down from upstairs, or coming up from downstairs (I have a 4-level house so I have different views of this room.) So it's all cool!
 
I worked today where there were no phones ringing. I can hear the phones ringing, normally, with my HAs. Doesn't bother me one bit - I've learned to tune it out. But the entire phone system shorted out this morning (even started to smoke :lol: ) so the phone company quickly got to work on fixing it. But it was QUIET today.
 
I taught my last class for the foreseeable future. Kinda nice to be done with that, but I will miss certain aspects as well. I did enjoy working one-on-one with the students, and I will miss that. Perhaps I'll continue to tutor in writing as a side gig.
 
Just wrapped my sister's high school graduation gift early. I found an amazing wrapping paper... Zebra print! It goes with her gift very well and she has a thing for that animal print. She's not graduating until June, but I'll mail it out in a week or two so that my other sister can hide it until her graduation. One less thing for me to deal with. Brother's Birthday gift is already on its way.

I don't even want to think about Mother's Day...

LOL, I wouldn't think so. The most they could do is to give you a membership along with a card that can be punched out each time you bought a meal and if you reached 10th time then you get a meal free. :lol:
 
I filled out a long family history for my granddaughter's hearing assessment tomorrow.
 
I just found out a friend of mine got hired for USDA-FSIS. Now when it is going to be my turn?!?! Dammit I want some success!!!

Dammit dammit dammit - I've GOT to call Springdale/Waldron tomorrow and find out all that's going on. I gotta get on USDA!!!!!!! I'm having a mental self-verbal-lashing. But at the same time part of me feels like I won't be good enough for this position, just like everything else, no matter how badly I want it.
 
I had a busy day today as I have met up with my Fiancee's mother and went to Costco this morning, Then my son and I went to visit his grandmother for couple of hours. After that, I went on home and did some cleaning around that house. Then toward the evening, I stopped at PetSmart to get more dog food for my dog Mila and then we went got some Ice cream at Baskin Robbins that were 31 cent per scoop. After that, I grabbed dinner at Panda Express, had good deal there as well, buy one and get one entree free. Came home, ate dinner with my family and now we're just relaxing at home. :)
 
Just got into a ridiculous silent fight with my girlfriend. Somehow I end up in trouble because of whatever fucking problem is in her head that she refuses to speak about to me.

I actually refrained from strongly correcting someone on their gay insulting statement! Yay!
