What did you do today?

since I got up at 6 AM for no reason, I did some more cleaning and got my son up to take him to school. After that, I took a long bath and slept for the rest of the morning. I promised myself one lazy day which is today. Then the rest of the week, I will be busy.

Uh, why are you surprised? I have plenty of Deaf friends and have hung out with lots of deaf people many times. My ASL isn't great, but it's only going to get better if I hang out with native signers...

I have a job waiting for me in DC. It's with the Federal Government.

Uh, why are you surprised? I have plenty of Deaf friends and have hung out with lots of deaf people many times. My ASL isn't great, but it's only going to get better if I hang out with native signers...

Helped MIL get somewhat dressed. Went and bought groceries and to the bank for MIL, also got my groceries. Met with a roofing inspector for the garage, no problems at all. Met with the town hall planning people and the are pleased at what we are going to do. They will have to go through the process of re-zoning the lot that has this garage before we can convert. Helped MIL into car and took her to doctor and also for her monthly blood work. She is on bed rest and light movement for a week now. Home now and printing up directions for hubby with a job interview tomorrow and then I will be working on floor plan ideas for the garage conversion. No weight loss meeting tonight due to MIL's injuries after her fall yesterday.

Haha, it was actually a place in Laurel, MD. While the sandwich & hush puppies were good, the side dishes were average (the mac and cheese was pretty blah, actually). The name is Kloby's Smokehouse, if you want to look it up. There's another place with multiple locations in the DC/MD/VA area that I have heard is excellent - Red Hot & Blue. But I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, so who knows if that's true!!

I'm always happy to try new BBQ places, love them!!
 
Just bought a voucher for great pancakes and drinks. Something to share with a friend in May!
 
Lifted weights, worked on selling condo, (tons of paperwork) experienced an earthquake (kinda cool) and alot of time consuming little things.
 
Tinnitus is really fading away! ... but will be seeing a doctor out of town this Thursday. ;)


Checked out Mortal Kombat game and might be getting it. How's Portal 2?

It's really great so far! We only did co-op and we're a bunch of dweebs. :giggle: We finished the first area though, but we're taking a break to sleep.

Where in the DC area will you live in?
 
Relaxed on the couch while my son played on the Wii and will soon meet my friend to go swimming with our kids in an indoor waterpark. It has a heated whirlpool next to the slides and stuff so my friend and I will chat while our kids play in the slides. It is a rainy day out again so that will be a perfect activity. My brother and her brother left this am to go camping at Ocean City...thinking about meeting them up tmw.
 
Woke up in massive pain. Rubbed some cream in and then took some Tylenol3. Had to take hubby for a job interview, nothing positive have to wait a few months. Still in some pain and will deal with it as best as I can. I totally feel like I was involved as a punching bag or in a roll-over accident or something like that. Just aches and pains from my neck to my toes.
