What did you do today? Part II

I still have one more gift to get and that's for MIL. She needs and wants new drinking glasses. The ones she has are too heavy for her weak arms. She was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I was out most of yesterday too. So much for taking a "vacation" day.
Took daughter to ENT, met other daughter at bank, got lunch at Taco Bell, got hair cut, stopped at post office to mail "secret Santa" gift (but couldn't keep it secret as they require a return address - and who says the terrorists/bad guys don't win). Went to BJs for 2 items which I had expiring coupons for, went shopping for last gifts at a small shpg ctr THEN went to the mall to get in the spirit w/o having to shop, stand in lines, etc. Then stopped at grocery store for ingredients for my Pecan Snowballs which I will make today.

wellll....today is a "new" day (Thursday)...and I'm not gonna do a darn thing but go back to bed....my boys were up very late last night and are still sleeping.

So far - I have been lazy today. I have gone through some family recipes and cleaned out the ones that I knew I would never use and my mother is no longer cooking. Some of those I set aside to mail to my brother in Missouri and a bunch were trashed. It was like going through "Memory Lane" to see some of them. I will be using a lot of them after we get our own place.

Well...I got back out of bed, can't sleep during the day...now getting ready to trim my doggie, then give her a bath for Xmas....

I slept til noon as usual. I picked up couple of defensive players on my fanasty football team. Now, Im here. :)

Got my doggie trimmed...looks so much better! Giving her a bath and perfume and her Xmas collar later on tonight....she's been "eyeing" her Xmas stocking, full of treats under the tree.....Got the kitten some Cat Nip...he started "crawling" on the floor...acting real goofy...

So now I'm off to change my Bedroom furniture around with the boys help....making it somewhat more "spacious" as we expect to get another doggie after Christmas. He's a boy named "TaZ"...a Pomeranian, and he was born blind. A gift from my Groomer.

We bought the cats some cat nip for Christmas and some play wands with jingle bells in them. Sammy has been going under the tree stepping on packages and heard the bells. Now, he wants in that package. The cat nip is in a double sealed bag and wrapped and in the branches in the top of the tree. My cats have been good and don't try to climb, though Sammy did short out the lights by chewing through the cord. :giggle:

I wish I had half of your energy! I guess your feeling better, I hope? Such a nice story about giving the blind dog a new home. Warmed my heart!!!

Have to go back out to the store. I forgot some crucial items. Toilet paper and allergy medicine.

I never put the kitties stockings up till Christmas morning. I keep the stuff in a drawer till then. This year my daughter bought the stuff and left it in her car for now.

Well, I caught some of RR energy. I finished all my wrapping. Now all that's left are the stocking stuffers that hubby and I will do later today or Friday. Feels good. Oh, plus grocery shopping and cleaning the house. Little by little that's how I get it done. Hubby does the grocery shopping and I try to clean most of the house. One daughters home but she went right up to her room and fell asleep.mfinals were very hard, got little sleep. The helpful daughter will be here Christmas Eve. She helps with the cooking and whatever else is needed.

Baked my one & only batch of Christmas cookies. Wrapped the rest of my presents.
My Utah daughter came over to spend the day. We'll go out to dinner before I take her back to her in-laws where they're staying for the holidays.

Hurry!...With so many people in ur house....."ass wipes" are a dire necessity!...How could you forget toilet paper? :giggle:

Maybe she ass-umed there was more? :giggle:

What allergy is that? How severe is it?

I don't have it myself, I am just curious.

Got the TP - I did think I had more and hate to run out. I went just as the last roll went up. MIL has her own 72 rolls but it's not the kind I like. I have to be gentle with my tush, ya know. :giggle:

I get the generic Claritin for 3 of us in the house. That for hubby, son and myself. We have all kinds of allergies and Claritin keeps the boys heads dry, mine, not so much. Daughter is on generic Zyrtec.

Son has allergies to dust, grass, pollen, soaps and medicines. He also has severe asthma.
Daughter has allergies to grass, dust, and pollen.
Hubby's allergies include dust, grass, pollen and I'm not sure what else.
My allergies include, dust, grass, pollen, Freon, soaps, cleaners, make-up, medicines and some foods.
