Tht's why we need Obamacare. Not everyone is lucky like us. It is either get the electricity shut off or go to work sick. Which one would you choose?
 
I went back to work the very next day after all of my surgeries last year because my employer wouldn't cover my time with pay, nor did i qualify for FMLA because I was new to the state. Sucks!!!!
 
I do nothing mostly. Visit sister. Lay couch, watch tv, only no captions because my dad broke tv remote. So I make up stories for sister, what I think they say. She laugh lots. Lisa Simpson said "shut your whore mouth" about 12 times. Lol.

I went to school. While I was at school, I had appointment with an accounting tutor to help with some exercises I did not understand. I went to work straight from school. I did not see Oliver all day. :( I did some homework.

I work on a farm. I'm the only full time staff and I can sometimes go a day or two without every seeing my bosses or the other workers. Even then, we don't work in close proximity to each other.
 
I went to work then took my DD to girl scouts and we came home and I have received ALLEYCATS package! :D I'm about to go upstairs to un-box it.

Yep, I had one of those on a business trip and went to the ER. I could not break the damn migraine and it got so bad I was worried I would not be able to call for help. Finally crawled out of bed and into some clothes and wondered down to the lobby to have someone at the front desk call for some help. I have very little memory of the event. I do remember a paramedic person scaring the shit out of me me, I thought I just sat down and suddenly I was surrounded. holy crap batman! About the only good thing about my bad migraines is I don't have to remember them.

:shock: I've never had headaches that extreme though I certainly remember one that had me screaming in pain and some guy from VSDB brought me to the hospital.

On the way I threw up in the front seat.. :Oops: Doctor gave me a shot and my headache vanquished. Doc told me that I had something that was causing extreme pain. I never did understand exactly what he said to me.
 
I remember having one so bad, it hurt just to breathe. I laid in bed all day in excruciating pain to the point of tears. It was so bad I was throwing up which made it hurt worse. I think I finally just passed out because I remember waking up around 2:30 in the morning feeling really out of whack but pain free at last. I stumbled out of bed and into the bathroom for a drink of water. I looked up into the mirror and I looked like I had been to hell and back. I stumbled back into bed and I didn't wake up until sometime the next afternoon finally feeling better.

The headache was so bad, if someone had walked in and shot me point blank in the head, it would have been a relief.

This was last year in Colorado Springs. and the funny part is the clinic I was supposed to validate/certify as operational was behind schedule. My sleeping the entire next day gave them time to get their shit together before I got there. So in the end it all worked out for the best. But next time... no scratch that, no next time! :ty:
 
Oops, misread! So - how's the weather on your trip as compared to what you're used to?

My girlfriend has stories like this about me. I don't remember them but she tells me what I do and what I say and I am surprised that I did those things. I totally believe you when you say it would be a relief. My gf has been suggesting that I keep a headache journal, especially since I don't remember them. Seems when I don't feel good I don't want to write stuff down, go figure.
 
Well - yesterday, we basically relaxed somewhat. I read 3 books. Then there was some issue with the way daughter and hubby or son were dealing with the breaker switches and the Christmas lights, but power was blown for most of the house.

Today, I went to 2 banks and cashed a check and deposited it in the other bank. Went to get son coffee from Dunkin Donuts (I can't get any there as I need creamer and they don't use non-dairy creamer). Electrician came this morning and it was a simple problem, but understandable. the sticker on the breaker bos tells in which direction the switches are supposed to be on or off. They were all in the "on" position according to the diagram, but when electrician looked, it was actually supposed to be the reverse on the one side. Nothing broken, just all switches on one side were on the wrong position in reality, but correct according to diagram.

Trying to deal with pain and needing to make up grocery list and get ready to drive 20 miles South to the "cheap" store to get most of the groceries.

Why would it take going to two banks to deposit one check? Could the check not just be endorsed and deposited in the account where you wanted it?

Could you make up small packets of non-dairy creamer to stick in your purse for when it is not available at a restaurant?

Hope you got the breakers re-labeled so the problem does not happen again.

Hope the pain calms down. Can't help but wonder if the break while driving to the store will help.
 
Received delivery of the Nook color that my husband got me for my birthday. (He inherits the Kindle that he won't put down anyway! :P )

After it charges going out to register it and get a couple of apps. Happy day!
 
Season, me just about get hit by truck. We have one stoplight town, it go red, Season go turn, guy drive work truck speed up, go through light, nearly hit us! Season phone his boss (he drive work truck), tell boss what he do. Scary!

Around here, we know to wait until the 4th car passes the stop lights when it's red before advancing in the snow. Perhaps that was the thing?
