As an expert in hearing, what can you learn from us?

If you had to come up with one thing about hearing what would the topic of discussion be?

what do you mean by teaching the deaf kid? all you can do is to treat everyone the same, as simple as that.

Could you enlighten us as to your credentials? What makes you an "expert"? And what is the purpose of your posting? I assume you are referring to "hearing" as the audiological system and not the population which can hear, correct?

Yes.

My questions is simple talking about the audiological system...

As a topic of discussion, what do you know about hearing?

For example, if and when during communication do you find yourself deaf?

Yes.

I pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming.
I guess I am just a numbo.

are you normal?

Hey cool for being normal!

If I started a poll for example, and I asked what type of learner you are? Would you be the "Audio" type of learner or "Visual" type of learner?

I was allways the visual type of learner beacause I had to "see it to believe it" type of person.

What's the most interesting thing about being deaf that you found to get by with on a daily basis?

Yes.

A deaf person is deaf during all points in communication, and all points outside of communication.

I am with DeafDoc1. Credentials, please?

Logically, if one cannot rely on hearing/listening, being an "audio type learner" would be a massive problem.

"if and when"?

Is it April 1st?
