What can you teach the deaf?

Yes.

My questions is simple talking about the audiological system...

As a topic of discussion, what do you know about hearing?

For example, if and when during communication do you find yourself deaf?

Yeah ,if I was talking to you I would take my HA out so I could not hear you what you're saying. And what do mean by "find yourself deaf ?"
When you are talking do you find yourself to be stupid?

As an expert in hearing, what can you learn from us?

If you had to come up with one thing about hearing what would the topic of discussion be?
What can I learn from you as hearing? I remember last sound I heard from my mother's voice right before I became totally deaf, "you are coming home" And I last spoke my hearing language to my aunt before I fell into deep coma. "Aunt Mary, can I have a donuts please?". What can I learn from hearing? Not much except I will never laugh at hearing jokes, only deaf jokes.

Please keep your slander to yourselves and stay on topic.
What is the topic? Still trying to figure that one out.

I dunno either (what the topic was about)...seems "the expert" has walked out of the house....maybe he forgot what the topic was about hisself!

What i love is how he said "especially those at risk of old age."

...Those at risk? Everyone gets older, no matter what! Instead of "finding myself deaf," I'm just confused! Hahaha, what is this thread?!

Oh me, don't remind me of my gray hairs. I wonder if I'll go completly gray by the time I'm 46.

As for any wisdom regarding the hearing and what's it like to hear that the op wants to dispense to us, I'm afraid I'm not interested. I'm outta here.

 Yeah. Thank Gawd I am at risk for old age. The other option is death.

Remember that hearing people who probably have never heard the word "deaf" always seem to pronounce "death". Gawd, we are not dead, yet!!!! That is the most ignorance comment when speaking to someone or me when they pronounce the wrong word. Jeepers!

I'm making perfect sense, your just not listening to me. ;)

Oh, I hate the word "listening" as we must concentrate what hearing people are saying (no ASL) instead of by hearing the words in speech or lipreading. We would rather sign so that we can pay attention what the person say very clearly without fumbling trying to make out what the person is saying in oral.

I think He is making a pun-like joke, but I could be wrong.
