are you normal?
LOL, that is a Good one Frisky Feline! Right ON!
are you normal?
Yes.
My questions is simple talking about the audiological system...
As a topic of discussion, what do you know about hearing?
For example, if and when during communication do you find yourself deaf?
What can I learn from you as hearing? I remember last sound I heard from my mother's voice right before I became totally deaf, "you are coming home" And I last spoke my hearing language to my aunt before I fell into deep coma. "Aunt Mary, can I have a donuts please?". What can I learn from hearing? Not much except I will never laugh at hearing jokes, only deaf jokes. As an expert in hearing, what can you learn from us?
If you had to come up with one thing about hearing what would the topic of discussion be?
What is the topic? Still trying to figure that one out.theExpert said:Please keep your slander to yourselves and stay on topic.
What i love is how he said "especially those at risk of old age."
...Those at risk? Everyone gets older, no matter what! Instead of "finding myself deaf," I'm just confused! Hahaha, what is this thread?!

Yeah. Thank Gawd I am at risk for old age. The other option is death.

I'm making perfect sense, your just not listening to me.
Oh, I hate the word "listening" as we must concentrate what hearing people are saying (no ASL) instead of by hearing the words in speech or lipreading. We would rather sign so that we can pay attention what the person say very clearly without fumbling trying to make out what the person is saying in oral.
