I agree. That is what killed our miniature Poodle.. Really great dog, but she had problems with kneecaps, couldn't walk enough and was overweight despite our best efforts.
Sounds like a stroke.

That's what I thought, too, but that's not what the vet said.Sounds like a stroke.

Something about stiffness in the neck and a hurt leg. I'll try to get more details from TCS, who gets them from his sister, who gets them from the vet (which is not their regular vet but emergency only). It's confusing.Did the vet say what was wrong ?
That brushing teeth with the new Chocolate Crest toothpaste I just bought is sort of like brushing with brownie batter.
Oh really. Does there have dark chocolcate??

Update:
Xray shows a neck disk calcification and maybe pinched nerve.

Further update: dog is doing better. Vet gave her an anti-inflammatory medication, and it seemed to improve things. She's able to get up, walk, and go potty outside. Whew!I bet that has your head spinning around . LOL!

She is on a strict vet ordered diet now. Umm, yes, she is.Good for the dog. Maybe they can get her on a good diet as a 57 pound beagle must be something to see!
