What are you thinking about Part VII

TCS and his sister agree that after MIL passes, they will get a dumpster and clean out the house. There is very little of value that they would want to keep (just jewelry and family photos probably).

TCS called a few minutes ago. He's at a campsite in Kentucky, south of Cincinnati. He usually stays at state parks but this time he's at a private one. When the owner found out that TCS is a member of PGR (Patriot Guard Riders), he told him the stay was free! The man said that he thanks veterans and PGR for their service. Wow, that was a nice surprise! :)

TCS and sister should be sure to check everything before getting rid of it , there could be money or jewelry hidden in anything. When my son in law grandfather dies his mother was cleaning out the garage and found a shoe box that had about $500 in it and note saying it was for his grandson . No one knew the money was there . That was a very nice surprise , getting to camp for free. My daughter and her family use to camp at private camp site and loved it.

I've never seen so much threads/posts removed in this forum. I am active in other forums and I don't see that happen that often but here on the other hand...

It's like Bermuda Triangle here...

I think it's the pilots flying into said Bermuda Triangle that keep disappearing.

SIL just told me that my grandson is walking around saying MomMom after they told him they're coming over here. :)

How weird it is when people get all mad and say they are never coming back, but then you notice they are more obsessively present than ever before... :hmm:

Its actually good to hear that others are having a good week. Hope it stays that way. And thanks!

about work....

happy for you about the sales, Derek:)

I'm thinking poor TCS. :(

Last night, he had to carry his sister's 57-lb dog in a sling (like a suitcase) to the emergency vet. The dog is at home now but it doesn't look good. I don't know what they would have done if TCS hadn't been there. No one else in the family can lift the dog, and the dog can't walk now.

Today, after other chores for the family, he will empty out and defrost his mom's chest freezer in the basement, then load it up again.

I'm thinking, not a fun vacation.

what was wrong with the dog?

Why don't grocery stores train their employees better. I was at Market Basket and a guy was blowing his nose really good with a tissue then he goes back to work without washing in his hands . I am glad I did not need to buy any milk. GROSS!

Reba , that sure does not sound like a fun vacation TCS . I had to lift Finlay up when he got stuck in a berry patch and he weight almost 50 pounds . I bet TCS is going to need to take another vacation when he get home. What happen to the dog and how are you doing with TCS gone?

That it's days like today where we are having a very fierce storm that I wish I did not have an office with full windows. I wish I was on the other side of the hallway today :)

Not quite sure. We know that it's been overweight for a long time but something came on suddenly yesterday. The dog can't raise its head because of some problem in the neck, and has something wrong now with one leg. I'm getting the details third hand, and TCS doesn't quite understand what his sister described. We do know that the dog can't get up to go potty. She's 8 years old, so not elderly. She's medium size, beagle mix.

Sounds like a stroke.
