TCS and his sister agree that after MIL passes, they will get a dumpster and clean out the house. There is very little of value that they would want to keep (just jewelry and family photos probably).
TCS called a few minutes ago. He's at a campsite in Kentucky, south of Cincinnati. He usually stays at state parks but this time he's at a private one. When the owner found out that TCS is a member of PGR (Patriot Guard Riders), he told him the stay was free! The man said that he thanks veterans and PGR for their service. Wow, that was a nice surprise!
TCS and sister should be sure to check everything before getting rid of it , there could be money or jewelry hidden in anything. When my son in law grandfather dies his mother was cleaning out the garage and found a shoe box that had about $500 in it and note saying it was for his grandson . No one knew the money was there . That was a very nice surprise , getting to camp for free. My daughter and her family use to camp at private camp site and loved it.
