SIL got his offer letter. He starts his new job in 3-1/2 weeks in CA.
Gotta find time to see as much of my daughter & grandson as I can before they leave. I will be seeing them tomorrow after work.

Hey LoveBlue....where in California? What line of work is your son in law in? I know so many people all over California just curious if our paths may meet one day. At least you will have a great place to visit.
You can PM me if you want.
Cupertino
I'll be out that way with my train friends in Oct. so will plan to spend one day with my daughter & grandson exploring San Francisco.
May alter my trip home to spend more time with them or just wait and go back there when it's winter here.

Cupertino is very nice, pretty expensive though. I lived and worked there many moons ago. I have a lot of family down in that area. The weather there is nice, not so hot like we get up here. Bay Area gets a nice cool breeze in the evenings. When going to San Francisco always remember to bring a sweatshirt. It can be 110º in Sacramento and half that in San Francisco. They sell a lot of sweatshirts there because people don't think it will be cold. I wish your family much luck on their new adventures.
this year it's already hot and humid
If you work 4 10 hour days, I always liked that schedule better. If I get this promotion, I'll be working 4 10 hour days and have 3 days off. I'm very excited about that. 10 hour days to suck a little more, but the three days off in a row are totally worth it.
Google+ is weird I never use it but still got an email saying "cheeseboy noko" had added me to their circles
LMAO.. used to it.. this is the second time I've lived in NC with a five year stay in SC in between (and short ones in GA and AZ). Almost..ALMOST... miss frigid cold days- those don't wreck my hearing aids LOL.Welcome to North Carolina
