I've had good experiences with i711Relay using AOL Instant messager.

The problem with the TTY is that it's cumbersome to carry around. With my cellphone I can do relay calls because I can do AOL IM chats on that.

As I said I really like it for at home on a landline.

With my cell phone I use Hamilton CapTel most of the time and like it. The difference between us maybe because I prefer to use my voice, which is necessary with CapTel.

I am in a semi-rural area and the portable TTY will be a backup if I have need in an area that does not have a good enough signal for the simultaneous voice and data that Hamilton CapTel needs. It will be left in the car and not carried around all the time.

I am thinking of the weird thing that happen at Market Basket today. I was trying to pick out a cucumber and asked the young woman working there if the cukes where suppose to be so hard and how to find a ripe one . The woman took the cuke I had and put it between her legs and I was like . She also said is should be crisp when you eat it. I did NOT buy that cuke the woman had , I got another one but it was green inside . I still not found how to tell when a cuke is ripe and I am not about to ask anyone else at MB. I wonder if the woman realize what she did , her hand just went down and she put the cuke between her legs. :roll:

I pick a cuke that was dark green but it was also very hard , and did not taste the great b/c it was too green inside. I think a lot of veggies are coming from other countries and they're being picked too early so they're hard and not bruise so easy. Yeah who know what that woman was thinking and I really did not want to know.

A little freaked out.....Our neighbors who just put their house up for sale have moved and we didn't even know. The new owners are moving into the house right now. Can't believe our neighbor didn't say anything to my hubby, they were always talking.

We didn't even know the house sold. Didn't think it would sell at the price they had it for.

You don't have the brand that has Neptune as an option?? Also do you have loss insurance?

Are you rich enough to just buy another processor if it goes in the water?

Hearing aids are cheaper, but I definitely would just go au natural if boating. Actually, I would probably just wear an older hearing aid I kept, but you don't really have that option.

Definitely not rich enough to buy another processor. However....when I had my CI surgery I received two processors.

The boat is big 22 feet, open bow, so it will not tip over...hopefully:giggle

I am going to wear a baseball cap so my CI will be held close to my head. No kids on this trip so no one splashing etc.

I might wear it and if I decide to take it off I will put it in the otter box you suggested I bought for my phone.

Another reason for us to learn ASL........

This was great news for everyone as no one like the people and my dog Finlay hated the guy with a passion. I always knew he was a very smart dog.

We found out today that they sold their house in 8 hours for full price. It's nice to see the housing market on an up swing.

Thinking that I am so happy I have no more projects for work and I can relax with my job in the remaining weeks of work before summer break. Yep, still looking for that job with better pay. I cannot believe how hard it is these days. I remember how easy it was for me to get jobs in the 80s and 90s. Wow...

I think my dog has eating disorder. He would eat everything outside. He would not stop to pee and poop. He is very fat.

aww keep him away from bad food outside as much as you can.
