I thinking it time for bed 11pm.goodnight enjoy your evening /afternoon everyone

Chipped molar and I'm leaving on my trip Tuesday. Guess I'll know by Monday morning if I need to try to get into the dentist office before my trip.

I think more places are putting them either when newly built or when remodeled. 8 years ago we lived in an apartment complex where they were slowly adding small stacked W/D's to the linen closet and we were lucky to get one of those. It was on the top of my list (after costs) when I was looking for a place. And this place has a full size W/D.

The one problem with the W/D here is that the laundry closet is in the wall that I would have used for my china cabinet. Then I was going to put it on the opposite wall (the cabinet would have stuck out though because that wall is the entry closet), but that wall has the electric box. So, I decided to put it on the side wall. Well, when the movers brought it in we realized that the ceiling fan in the dining area was in the way. So the china cabinet is now on the wall by the front door in the living room.

You will probably get used to the idea of having china cabinet in living room. The best place for china cabinet is dining room. My mom used to have a table that matches the cabinet. It looked beautiful. Do you have glass china cabinet?

What about a portable set? Will your rules allow that? I used that combination in at least 2 places. The washer connected to the kitchen sink like a portable dishwasher would. The dryer ran on regular house current and didn't need to be vented. But rather than sweep up lint I had the guys (I was bookkeeper for a construction company) cut a scrap piece of paneling the same width as one of the windows with a hole in it for the vent kit i bought and I blew it out the window. I later had the washer install like a full size one would be after I bought a house.

My landlord won't let me have portable washer and dryer.

Can't you call someone to get your money back, this happen to me at my condo and I got my money back . Someone put a Canadian quarter in the washer and when I used the machine next I lost my money . I got my money back a couple of times . I would be bugged too if that many dryers were broken at once.

If it happens again, I will ask for money back.

My table & chairs match the cabinet. We got them all at the same time. They're cherry wood and made by Pennsylvania House.
Yes, the cabinet is has glass doors.
I may not put the china back in but instead put other things to display (that have been boxed up for years). At least until I decide if this move is long term as I don't want to have to pack up the china again.

I am really cheap and don't like losing any money . When my dad gave me money he wanted to know every penny went , this was drilled into my brain.

I have just thought of what is probably the main difference even though my experience was many years ago.

That is that the largest apartment building I was in was 8 units with each of us having our own outside door. A couple of the places were houses that had been divided into two units (not duplex and the upstairs and downstairs were different sizes). So NO common laundry room to be in competition with.

What is with all these threads popping up with only a link being posted ???
There are spreading like weeds.

Looking everywhere for my hearing aids! I've never lost them before. I had them last night. I'm looking suspiciously at the dogs. gotta have a sense of humor right now. If only there were a "hearing aid finder" like they have for iPhones.

Oh dear. You probably saw the picture when one of the dogs got my husband's hearing aid.

I found them! After about 7 hours of looking for them. They were under husbands pillow. I either fell asleep with them on or a fairy moved them. I am inclined to think it was ME.

They're spam. Someone is bombarding AD with spam.
