If the California DMV works the same as NC she could order a duplicate license online. Then you could ship them to Ireland for her. :hmm:

I was chatting with her earlier and she had already taken care of stopping her credit cards etc. I let her know that whatever I could do here for her I would. I think her eye prescription is good until December so if I can I will definitely get her new glasses and send them to her. These things are just a huge hassle.
 
Angle I am sorry.if Karma exists they get punishment...I think in Iriand you have 'Spec SAvers' if so you get specks same day if they got scrip

Thinking about sitting in bed and resting...except my bed is in the apartment and I'm in the house.
 
First thought was this Italian dancer on tv A stud full package then flick channel and Colin firth strutting his stuff in Pride and prejudice.Oh boy thoughts to myself.

I believe you posted that there were warnings out. From what they say when there are those kinds of storms here in So. Illinois I think that really made a difference. Even if basements and shelters are rare (I feel there are probable a few basements here and there and don't take what you said as literally none but as a general rule) it would get people inside and on the lowest level they do have.

There are NO basements in the Lowcountry, and no tornado shelters. All we can do is go to the lowest level interior room. In our house that means the first floor laundry room under the stairs.

You can't put in a basement when the water table is only a foot below ground. Houses are either built on slabs or crawl spaces or elevated, such as at the beach.

We had clouds and rain all night. No moon at all. :(

My grandson was especially disappointed. He had his telescope ready but no moon. This happens almost every time there's an interesting sky event.

Don't do it! I just reached a settlement with someone that owes me hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars that never paid me back but they settled cause they didn't want to go to court and I already had court papers drawn up!
