What are you thinking about Part VII

Thinking it's been four years tonight that I got really sick, was in a coma for a month and went completely deaf. Luckily I found AD and met so many wonderful people who gave me tremendous support. So, thank you to all who have helped me along the way. Life is pretty amazing.
 
Thinking about a voice mail I got yesterday. I think it's from voc. rehab. but not 100% sure since the gal talked fast. So fast that I only heard 6 of the 7 digits of the phone # she left.
I sent an email to a couple of contacts at voc rehab asking them to someone tried contacting me and asked them to email, not call, me.
Hoping it's good news (help with getting new HAs).
 
So my "sister" comes by the house today and we head out to cash my check and grab dinner....as I approach her car I noticed a bunch of ...what looked like nails in her tire and thought "dang girl, where have you been driving" then I noticed how many and that it looked like they belonged there and I got confused.... Okay some things this Georgian has never seen...tires, as I understood, are rubber and all black maybe a white wall that is it... So I asked her what was up with her tire.... And on this beautiful 86° evening in Georgia ... Her response...snow tires.... I am thinking ...why :)

That is weird! Studded snow tires are banned in some states and very restricted in others because they damage the roads.

I can believe that...I think it is a non issue in Georgia or at least where I am ... Tried googling it, but even Google is lost on why someone would want to here.... Do not think most people would even know what they were, at least those who are from around here.... But in her defense she is coming from some pretty cold areas lately.... Still I had to ask if she thought the Apocalypse was coming :) She say she just has not gotten around to changing them...
 
Thinking I'll delay vacuuming the cat hairs off the floor until Monday night. Furball is getting a lion cut on Monday...just when the temps will be cooling down for a few days.
 
Thinking that it FEELS so good not to have any plans this weekend.
 
I am thinking about going to the store to buy Merlot wine and Fireball in 10 minutes. The liquor store close at 8 pm. I hate that they close early. I won't get drunk. I enjoy getting a buzz.

I'm thinking I should just shop in the men's dept for slacks for work. I just want basic belted pants w/pockets - that fit at the waist, not below the waist.

OIC....66% alcohol...so not so bad...what do you mix it with?...I like the cinnommeny taste (and smell)...

Good luck...as for pants with back pockets, they make my arse look bigger...like the front pockets tho'....

Especially when I have a full pack of pocket tissues in the pocket. :lol:
But, since I don't look at my backside, I don't care. :P

I'm more for comfort and functionality than fashion.

I use Act's Cinnamon mouth rinse because I don't care for mint. I have to go to Bed, Bath & Beyond (my local one has a "drug store" in it) to find it though.
