What are you thinking about Part VII

Thinking about my emotional roller coaster as I wonder if I'll have a job before my severance pay runs out next month.

I have thought about "fill in" jobs, but even those can be hard to find. I'm even starting, slowly, looking at temp jobs in Philly - as long as it's within an easy walk to the train stations.

In other news, my daughter told me just now that she's starting to have contractions, but don't think they're the real deal. She had several false alarms with her first baby. She's due around March 9th. Hope Lyra Jane continues the "tradition" and is born on March 4th or 11th - so all of our birthdays are on the same day of the week each year. :)

caz, I sure do understand about dragging oneself!

Windchill advisory today - high of 10 above zero, 20- 30 below zero windchil.

LoveBlue, congrats on the upcoming birth!

35 degrees sounds beautiful....

I'm also thinking about my job.

thanks....I have seen it many times watched yesterday(such is my sad life at moment) on index the line gradually went up until line under on topic was last one left then gone...so I posted on a thread last used day before expecting that subject would automatically be current but no,,i tried the browser made no difference,i just wondering if it the time delay being I 6 or 9 hours ahead..mystery

Not real sure what you are trying to describe. But if I have read a thread and then go to the top of the page and click on "New Posts" to see what I want to read next there is likely to be a point somewhere from the top down that says "The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts.". Under that are threads listed that have not changed since the last time I checked for threads but are ones that I did not read earlier. It has always been this way.

Your time zone doesn't effect it.

Are you clicking on "New Posts"?

If you're expecting your most recent post to show up under "New Posts," it won't be there. The posts that you make don't update that thread. It's only updated when someone else posts in that thread. Then, it's classified as "unread."

But I'm not sure if that's your question.
 
I can't believe my city still has a parking ban going on ! It has been going on for over a month already . :roll:

yes that what I do new posts..it was hit and miss when posted about computer and you answered me, that post would have updated but not updated when you posted after me.i still not sure what means new thread and thread mean...New posts that what I do
 
between what did you learn today and deaf cell phone there line says not updated unread stuff.would that say same for everyone
 
thinking about death...too much recently. My roommate's 16 year old son lost his good friend in a house fire 2 weeks ago, my dog got sick all of sudden yesterday and she had to be put to sleep, and then today I read about Chicagoblue.

:hug: Oh no im sorry about your freind .. But im shocked about yoru dog. what went wrong with your dog??? :( HUGS!!!

I came home yesterday and found her extremely ill. She couldn't walk and her paws were in reverse while she was trying to stand up. She was breathing so rapidly. Sat with her at home for 2 hours until my roommate and her kids came home because I couldn't lift her up due to her growling at me. Wasn't like her at all. She would let my roommates son pick her up so we took her to the vet. Discovered that her immune system starting attacking her body all of sudden and her red blood cell count went down to 13 % putting her in a crisis mode. The vet said she needed to go to the ER and get blood transfusions but she was so beyond help that the chances of her surviving were slim so I made the hardest decision and had her put to sleep because she was suffering and in so much pain. My roommate, 3 kids and I said our goodbyes and my roommate's son and I stayed with her to the end. It was horrible. My husband was stuck on the train so he didn't get to say goodbye so he feels really horrible about it.

My daughter was the one who picked her and my roommate's son called her and told her. She was so sick about not being there with us.

She was only 7 years old so it was all so sudden because 2 days ago, she was fine.

Still really having a rough time of it today. House feels so f**** empty without her.

I just feel bad for my roommate's 16 year old son because my dog slept with him every night and he just went through a horrifying loss two weeks ago with his good friend from school dying in a fire just like Chicagoblue did.

Depressing to think about all of this.
