ChicagoBlue, what did you do before you joined AllDeaf? I wondered because you post all day/night except when sleeping so I wondered what you did before posting threads.

I was doing other things, too, and still do. However, I was looking for something interesting to do, and I found this by accident. Now I'm wondering how come I didn't find it years ago. It's just that there's not a lot going on right now, but when it warms up, that'll change, and I probably won't be on here as much.

I'm sure many of us found it by accident. I don't remember how I did but I'm sure I found it by accident by typing deaf or something. Anytime you type deaf, you're almost certain to stumble across this site.

Close. I was looking for more information on better protective ways from scammers, and that lead me directly here. I immediately got interested, and considered holding off on joining until after the holidays.
 
I've bumped into AllDeaf many times over the years since at least 2003 I think (I'm sure...) as I tend to google a LOT- out of boredom and/or for solving the online riddles that I do. Wasn't until now I joined though (I needed another forum like I need another hole in my head... :hmm:). I am not as prolific as Mr. Mark though.

I never intended to end up this way. :| I just wanted to have a good regular time, but unfortunately several of my previous threads have either backfired or ended up unintentionally funny-- at my expense. Now I am learning to be more careful with what I post, so I don't backfire again.

Actually it's not. There really is a NCIS in real life, too. Look up Navy Yard in Washington, DC. They work there.

C is a criminal. They don't do noncriminal investigation. but you're having trouble "adjusting" to NIS because you watch a lot of NCIS tv shows, yes?

One and the same. They're not NIS anymore. They changed it to NCIS. That's their official website.
